Oprah Winfrey, as she is wont to do, just gave the most galvanizing, inspiring, and possibly life-saving speech in awards show history. (And, as she has been wont to do lately, just set off a powder keg of speculation about a potential presidential run.)
We had joked on Twitter that the speech was so emotional, a gale force of truth-to-power, that we’d need a week to recover from it. But the truth is that it was packed with such rousing, fist-raising immediacy that the only possible recourse is to take her words as marching orders and leap into action now.

Truth to power?? From one of the most powerful women in this country?? Hollywood certainly does hypocrisy very well.........
On Facebook, people were commenting on how she hit her speech out of the ballpark. I have NO idea what this speech was about and all I could do was roll my eyes because libs loved it so much.
I just heard the speech. It is pure feminista, only a woman (of color) can return the planet to it’s intended order...female domination with no men in charge.
That ought to seal her fate.
I would indeed be surprised if anything surprised me me anymore... After all this here’s.... “The World”...???

All the actors at the golden globulols were trying to act like they care about the “little folks”. Including, but not limited to, Okrah.
We know they were acting so it didn’t work unless a person is stupid. Well nevermind...
I’m sure it was very inspiring to the dozens of people in the TV audience who heard it.
This is all wishful thinking by people other than Oprah. She has enough skeletons that her closet would be characterized as “drive in” instead of “walk in”.
The ego that is bigger than her rear end has spoken.
As Larry Elder said this morning, she won’t run. It takes a special type to run and win. She, like Barbra, just wants to play a president in her own home or on tv.
I’d give her the first few you listed but the last 2 especially, no way.
She has much fear otherwise she wouldn’t need to keep affirming herself, celebrating herself etc. And she truly doesn’t care about people or the country or she would actually teach people to get to a point of not needing help and handouts, freebies.
She gives stuff away to make herself feel good. Lots of people out there who help others so they (the giver) feel better not because it’s actually enriching the other person’s life in a real and lasting way.

I wonder if she is in the Spirit Cooking cult with Hillary and GaGa and Podesta.

The CommieCrats are obcessed with cult of personality, but for my money, I want so see them recruit someone so good that they talk them into killing themselves ... like Jim Jones or Marshall Applewhite.
