Trump’s best counter strategy against alleged sexual misconduct: Scorched-earth political war
American Thinker.com ^ | December 14, 2017 | Keith Edwards

Given that the Russian collusion strategy seems to be falling apart by the minute, the only strategy Democrats have left to try and defeat President Trump in 2020 is to push the sexual abuser narrative - which proved to work well for them in Alabama. Democrats saw what political damage this strategy did to Roy Moore in just a few short months, and are confident it will wreak major political havoc over the next few years on President Trump.

One way for President Trump to counter this impending sex abuse strategy is to fight fire with fire - and he needs to move very quickly before the tide begins to rise against him as it did against Judge Roy Moore.

President Trump’s counter strategy should be to call for the immediate exposure of every elected official in the U.S. Congress that has used taxpayer “hush” money to cover-up any form of sexual misconduct. And with that, President Trump must also call for the immediate rescinding of every non-disclosure agreement to allow every accuser an opportunity to speak their piece and expose the alleged perps in Congress. These actions by President Trump will quickly bring to light this most repugnant congressional political cover-up and expose every elected official that is currently being protected from accountability for possible crimes.

the only strategy Democrats have left

Hah! You wish ... when the sex (with women) thing fails, they WILL come up with something else. Each new "something else" will be nuttier and stupider than anything any would-be satirist would ever dream up.

Donald Trump is no Roy Moore. I suspect 95% of his supporters would vote for him again even if there was irrefutable evidence that every accusation against him is true. We hold our political leaders to lower standards than our janitors, and we vote accordingly.

Roy Moore lost because nobody really thought he'd be an effective U.S. Senator. And he sure wasn't going to be as entertaining as Donald Trump, either:

1. Seems like a pretty good idea.
2. I am leery (no pun intended) of writers who say the President “must” do this or that.
3. If I had to guess, I’d guess about 95% of men could be reasonably accused of harassment as long as it is loosely defined. And the democrats like defining it loosely so that they can apply it to any target. So they are aiming to neutralize any male candidate. (Please, not Hitlery again! Also not Kamala.)

Don’t get sucked in (again no pun intended) by the false equivalence of rape, groping, stalking, and making an unwelcome advance. Those are all distinctly different acts. How does a man know that his interest is unwanted unless he tries? One person’s flirting is another person’s harassment.

Second, let’s not excuse bad behavior, but let’s also not dredge up things that are decades old. Most of us learn to interact in a socially appropriate way by making lots of mistakes when we are young. And I am not just referring to men or to dating issues.

There are those of us who think Trump has been lining up his game pieces for a big house cleaning. I expect it to start in January. I don’t think AG Sessions has been as asleep as people say. I don’t really expect Hillary or Obama to be in a jail cell, but I think some big Democrat names will be charged with really big crimes. Espionage. Treason. Racketeering.

The Democrats can spread rumors that 30 years ago Trump kissed a woman in an elevator (or whatever) but in the meantime, John Podesta is awaiting trial for child sex trafficking. Golly, which party looks worse?

Good post. Women can’t be as stupid as Gillibrand who believes she was sexually harassed in a tweet from President Trump.

She doesn’t have the intellectual muscle to run for president. When things get tough she’ll pull out the gender card! I can see her telling Putin he’s sexually harassing her at a state dinner; oh wait, Dems like dictators so she’d probably go for it. Warren did out her.

If tax payer money has been used it should be made public.

It seems to me that if these weaponized sexual accusations were suppose to bring down President Trump it is failing. If anything it has become a weapon that has been turned against the Democrats and their friends in Hollywood and the media.

They have so muddied the water that by 2020 the American people will be sick of the whole thing. I do not believe it is going to work out as they hoped.

The Democrats have a bigger problem then President Trump’s locker room language. RussianGate is turning into an exposure of corrupt DOJ and FBI in collusion with the Democrat party.

I know the mainstream media would kill this story if they could but they can not. As someone pointed out earlier it is just possible that Sessions is working behind the scene gathering information that will destroy the Democrat party.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody is there to hear it, does it make a sound?

The media is an enemy of the Republic because of what it refuses to let the public hear. As long as the propaganda can out-scream the truth in the 30-second clips that most people get for “news”, the deterrent effect of any real justice that might occur is muted.

We only know the story with Clinton’s obstruction of justice and perjury because the impeachment trial was televised. And even after all that, Congress wouldn’t convict him and so large swaths of the public still consider him a celebrity.

It would be interesting to dredge up all the quotes back then of how it was “just sex” so it didn’t matter...

I actually think we need a Nuremburg-type trial, to ever get to the bottom of all the deep state’s crimes and flush out the swamp rats.

“Women can’t be as stupid as Gillibrand who believes she was sexually harassed in a tweet from President Trump.”

Sadly, yes, they can. Those on the left at least. The desire to be a victim like everyone else can be overwhelming to some. (#me too, for example) It has come to mean harassment if you you asked twice for a date, and misconduct if you check out the legs on a babe wearing a short skirt. Accept the premise of none of this new-found sexual morality of the left. It is fake. Also, be smart, guys. Fifty years ago my dad gave me some good advice along these lines: don’t sh!t where you eat. Worked then, works now.

“...push the sexual abuser narrative...”

This strategy will be the Democrat’s focus of the next few elections since it worked so well in Alabama. Perhaps we can fight fire with fire.

Exactly right. Many of these allegations, if true, are nothing more than unwelcome advances or the slip of a hand where it should not be. How can one prove any of that????

When a hand slips to the wrong place purposely or not, the woman should deliver a sharp slap on the face (if no immediate apology is given) in front of everyone. Instant justice! There is not a man on this forum that would disagree with this. Women didn’t always put up with this crap. And this protects all of us from bullshit accusations.

I actually think there is a good chance of that happening.

Mind you, I'm not going to place a $1000 bet on that happening, but I do think that President Trump plans exactly that as a way to really drain the swamp.

I hope so. And I hope that all the stuff that was too much of a “sacred cow” to touch will be prosecuted as well. Until people see the TOTALITY of the corruption they will think there are just a few bad apples here and there. It’s not that. The whole stinkin’ system is corrupt as Hades. And that needs to be put on full display so there’s no place left for those who want to deny that this nation has been under attack from within for a long time.

And the role of the media and its crimes also need to be dragged in. The whole stinking cesspool needs to be exposed and drained.

The pre-candidate Trump was buds with Chucky Cheese Schumer (recall Chucky’s appearance on “The Apprentice” as the reward for winning a task). The way to nip the harassment talk in the bud is to go after Schumer who I suspect is as much an ass-grabber as the NY/DC party set allows and has kept it all secret.

Maybe Trump and Schumer have a truce where neither will expose the others dirty laundry but, if not, have some oppo research find a few women who will claim for the right price (paid by lawyers or investigators, not directly from the GOP or Trump) that Chucky crossed the line with them and then watch the Dems and the media dial back their sex attacks on Trump.

Seriously. Do we want to criminalize kissing? Do we want people to lose their jobs over a jostled bump on an airline flight? Is that the new definition of “harassment”? The Dems won’t throw the de facto party leader overboard so the guy to go after is Schumer and I bet Trump has some stories to tell. The question is how to get them out in public where the story does not appear to come from his camp.

One of Trump’s strongest counterattacks is to call out the double standard regarding Bill Clinton. If women are supposed to be believed, by default, when they make accusations of sexual misconduct, then Senator Gillibrand falls short on the moral authority to complain about Trump when she cheerfully campaigned alongside Bill Clinton, who stands accused of far more serious misdeeds (including forcible rape).
