As her boss, President Trump, mocked CNN at a rally in Pensacola, Fla., for a botched report earlier in the day, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders took a shot at the network via Twitter for a completely different mistake.
Tweeting out a screenshot of CNN from earlier in the evening during "Anderson Cooper 360," Sanders pointed out that while the network was playing audio from White House spokesman Raj Shah, the photo CNN put on the screen was actually of an Obama administration alumnus with a similar name.
".@CNN this is definitely not @RajShah45 but it is #FakeNews," Sanders tweeted.

Is it coincidence the only thing that these gaff’s have in common is the subject is DJT?
It’s hard to know how normal incidents of this type have been. Perhaps we are now sensitized and notice what was there...mistakes...all along. But the overwhelming impression now is that the news in general, and CNN in particular, is just melting down. Nothing appears to get fact checked. There appears to be no editing as to what should and should not hit the air.
My impression is that they are so Trump-shocked that they simply can’t function.
If I was running CNN I’d set up a process where anything that went on the air had to pass some sort of review. While I don’t think it’s possible to get back the lost credibility in the short term, it would be a good idea to hold onto any perceived journalistic credibility that might remain.
The electronic mediums in use today and vigilant users, do not let fake media get away with their stupidity and MSM hates it because they know you can’t fix stupid.

The only way CNN and the rest of the media can gain back any credibility is if they start to report the truth... about the democrats.
As the qualifications, performance standards, and ethics of news reports has deteriorated, it is only logical the quality and performance of editors will decline.
Like most professions qualifications (graduation from a top school) now outweigh actual performance on the job. Journalists today graduate with journalism degrees where they are indoctrinated by leftist professors and then immediately go to reading stories, often written by someone else, on the air. Fifty years ago the green cub reporter, often not a college graduate, earned the title of reporter through years of wearing out shoe leather on the beat and endless rewrites of stories for demanding editors. In the old days, shoddy reporting and glaring mistakes were not tolerated.
Today the performance of editors is based on the number of sensational stories they can plug into the 24/7 news cycle. Quality and standards don’t seem to matter. Even ratings are secondary to “production”.

It’s a deliberate tactic.
I have listened and attempted to talk to democrat voters. They believe the first thing they read or hear when CNN or the WAPO, NYT, NBC ABC CBS runs it.
They do not read the body of the article. They simply see, hear and obey. Attempting to clarify, correct or dissuade is neigh impossible.
I can’t tell of the many times I have tried. One woman asked me, “Where do you get this stuff? I haven’t heard about this?”
She ONLY and exclusively watches MSNBC for “news.”
She says she has to watch Lawrence (as if she’s on a first name basis with the O’Donnell creature) to get the truth.
All anti-Trump, of course.
Most in my group read everything from The Economist to Asian outlets and everything in between since the American media is so hopelessly compromised by DNC propaganda.

Democrats, and the media is merely a subset of Democrats, see the world though a special lens. Unlike a pair of glasses, which you could take off, they can’t remove the lens. It’s in their software. It’s how they interpret the world. To remove the lens would irretrievably alter the mechanism that is their brain. Whatever was left would not be what you started with.
To give an example, I saw a video on YouTube labeled something like “The Eleven Most Evil People Who Ever Lived.” It started out with the family that created Walmart. It began chronicling this evil corporate demon that was now, horrors, the largest employer in most states!!!!! It went on with several facts about Walmart, all of which, to me, were a remarkable achievement. But the author of the video, without saying why, believed these were several steps beyond the Nazi Holocaust. Here is an egregious example of how Democrats see the world. They look at, say, a group of women seated at work tables turning out microcircuits in a big fab assembly building. While a conservative sees people earning a living, who have contracted their labor in exchange for a cocktail of pay and benefits, a Democrat sees oppressed workers forced into servitude by a horrible big company.
The fact that there’s a huge disconnect between the Antifa “rebel” living in his parent’s basement and the fact that he takes an Uber to a Starbucks and Tweets about corporate oppression from his iPhone just doesn’t register on Democrats.
In short, the media can’t tell the truth about Democrats, because they are incapable of seeing the truth.

Remember the Nelson Mandela funeral where the stadium in Johannesburg put up a picture on the jumbotron screen of Morgan Freeman as Mandela? That was the IT people from CNN. All the South Africans wanted to know why they were at a funeral for Morgan Freeman?
Quit pickin on CNN. They should be given a Nobel Peace prize or something for hiring all the mentally impaired people that they do.
The Democrat Party is simply the political arm of the News Media, and the News Media won't damage the arm that implements their agenda.
