Californians CAN get no-residency concealed carry permits from UTAH:
Would this mean Calif has to honor the Utah permit..?

Well it looks like the Dems might have one less vote in the senate for a few days. Republicans should use that to their advantage.

Attach the Bill to the tax reform Bill. Cram as much in as possible. Elections have consequences. But, RINOS have no gonads.

I don't like it when the Dems do that, so I won't support the Republicans in doing that either.

It looks like Justin Amash and Thomas Massie both voted NO on this one.
State’s rights concerns maybe?

“14 Rs vote no.”
My Congressman (Roskam) was one of them. He can now expect NOT to receive my vote in 2018. F*****g Quisling.

I don't like it when the Dems do that, so I won't support the Republicans in doing that either. I suppose you do not support President Trump's use of EOs to repair some of the damage Obama inflicted on our country because you didn't approve of Obama's use of them?
I get where you're coming from, really - but when your enemy lives in the mud, you're sometimes going to have to get muddy if you're going to engage.
GW Bush did not understand that or chose not to, and look where it got him.

Trump needs to ask the Senate to personally bring this to the front and get it to his desk by Christmas. A big win for him and Republicans. Get it done!

And then when your enemy is acting outside the limits the law, you have no basis to call them on it. Your guy did it too.
I do not support any elected government official taking actions that are outside of the limits of the Constitution which they have taken a vow to support and defend.
As far as Trump’s EOs, as long as they were drafted as instructions to the agents and agencies under the executive branch on how to enforce the laws legitimately passed by the legislature, then I have absolutely no problem with them. That is what EOs are intended to be used for.

I believe we had the votes lined up for this in the House and the Senate when it was first going to be voted on. Right as the Las Vegas mass shooting happened.
