One of these days, somebody is going to shoot.
Friendly Russians some Freepers have grown to fawn over just doing their jobs comrade
Hey General,
You don’t determine the extent of “our business”.
Russian Submarines have no business in the Gulf of Mexico!!!
Chinese J-8 jet attempted this kind of close flyby in 2001, crashed into the US EP-3 and the Chinese pilot died.

Just what is our business in the Black Sea?
Intelligence gathering.
It ain’t for the Ruski’s to determine.
bfl
I know. We are a simple peace loving democratic Empire.
Last time I looked Romania is a NATO member, and we have military bases there. Romania is located on the Black Sea.
Hence US (NATO) aircraft fly there.
Of course Russia views the Black Sea as the Kremlin’s bath tub.
As many who have traveled to Romania can testify, the Romanians love America.
the problem with this report is two fold. First NewsWeek is fake news and their source, cnn, is even worse.
After we had to win two world wars we decided to be a referee. We don’t exclude, we fight to keep the seas open for all.
And we don’t try to wreck others planes in international waters.
Moral equivalence fail...
Just saw this on Fox News.
They said the engagement lasted 24 minutes and the Russian jet several times passed in front of the US plane as close as 50 feet, while on afterburner.
Could a P8 carry Sidewinder missiles?
Buna!
The Romainians I’ve met love America and Americans far more than most Americans do!
“Could a P8 carry Sidewinder missiles?”
From what I can tell you can put these missiles on practically anything that can fly.
...And your Russian submarines have no business off the east coast of the US and the Caribbean, Ivan. But that’s how the game is played, isn’t it?
