Mitch McConnell, the Senate Majority Leader, is a failure. Theres no disputing that fact, which has become apparent even to himself.
Despite having control of both the House and the Senate, his party can not accomplish anything on their to-do list. Even his best efforts, holding votes in the middle of the night trying to sneak things through, he still cant get anything passed.
McConnell has finally admitted to his failure, but hes still being arrogant about it.
During a recent radio interview he said,I choose not to dwell on situations where we come up a little bit short. Even on the night when we came up one vote short of our dream to repeal and replace Obamacare, heres the first thing I thought about: feel better, Hillary Clinton could be president.

ForeverDemocrat? THAT’S a source???!?
Dude, I get attacking McConnell, but they are attacking from the left. I prefer to see the attacks from the right.
He saved the balance of SCOTUS he’s been a hero for the Republic. But it’s past time to step aside for a Trump Republican. Same with Ryan, although he’s been useless.
He was always Harry’s bitch....
It doesn’t matter. McConnell IS a failure,
Being the Senate Majority Leader is not a job for the faint of heart, but there must be somebody in the Senate, or in the realm of political leadership that can handle the job better than McConnell. At least somebody who is loyal to the Constitution, and understands who it is he works for.
TurdL will do anything to stay in power, even if he has to harm good conservatives in the process.
...feel better, Hillary Clinton could be president

And the fact that shes not is no thanks to McConnell!
Cruz is the only Senator I know that even comes close to fitting your description.
A well paid failure. I guess he will give his money away and resign in disgrace.
Yep.
Mitch has no one to blame, but himself. You start putting some of these big egos on the back-bench & take their chairmanships away...then you will see some success. Fact is Mitch has no interest in playing hard-ball. He thinks we are all going to go away. Not happening, Mitch.
He is not a failure . . . he succeeded thus far in thwarting Donald Trump’s agenda. The people he is beholden to are quite pleased with his success.
..and Paul Ryan, the GOPe, McCain, and many other RINOs.
If McConnell stepped aside, we would get Cornyn.
There will be no improvement until we do a lot of Cantorizing.
Alexander, Corker, Flake, Graham, Hatch, Heller, Hoeven, Murkowsky, McCain, Rubio, Gardner, Burr, Tillis, Portman, McConnell, Thune, Cornyn, Cochran, Isackson, Blunt, Johnson, Toomey, Capito, Rounds, Fischer, Collins, Wicker, Sasse, Ernst, Lankford, Young, Boozman and Shelby are all undocumented Democrats in R jerseys.
...and somebody who has the “damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead” gonads, knows how to knock heads, knows how to jettison the damnable Senate protocols that Reid ran roughshod over, somebody who isn’t content to be a caretaker.
I wish he would just break down and cry like little girl Boehner.
What about Charles Grassley? I think he would have the balls to force senators to doing the right thing....Hell, he just ended the blue slip policy that demos have been using to deny Trump nominees a vote!
I choose not to dwell on situations where we come up a little bit short. Even on the night when we came up one vote short of our dream ....
Mitch, please get out of town. You are a miserable failure.
