Nancy Pelosi: John Conyers deserves ‘due process’
NBC News ^ | Nov 26 2017 | Kailani Koenig

Posted on 11/26/2017 8:33:36 AM PST by Cheerio

WASHINGTON — House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi on Sunday urged “due process” before making conclusions about Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., following accusations of sexual harassment, saying the 27-term Congressman is “an icon” who has worked to protect women.

“We are strengthened by due process. Just because someone is accused - and was it one accusation? Is it two?” Pelosi said on “Meet The Press.”

“John Conyers is an icon in our country. He has done a great deal to protect women - Violence Against Women Act, which the left - right-wing - is now quoting me as praising him for his work on that, and he did great work on that,” she added. “But the fact is, as John reviews his case, which he knows, which I don’t, I believe he will do the right thing.”

The only thing sacrosanct in the RAT party is the alter of ABORTION-BABY KILLING. These RAT individuals must never be asked to resign from the DC Swamp - just like they said a week ago about PERVERT AL FRANKENSTEIN.

The law and/or morality does not apply to Democrats/liberals.

Summary execution for Conservatives the moment an allegation is made. Forgiveness and healing when a Leftist is caught red handed. And its not just the media. The entire justice system has been compromised and not even a Republican President seems to able to do anything to change the deep seated corruption in the DOJ and FBI.

Conyers is a founder......L/E needs to audit bank accounts of the Congressional Black Caucus (C/B/C).....and the office accounts of its members , for instance, Conyers.

NOTE WELL The “Bank Secrecy Act” was passed to protect the public from harm by identifying and detecting criminal enterprises, government fraud, money laundering, tax evasion or other unlawful activities.

Under the Bank Secrecy Act, banks are required to establish, implement and maintain programs designed to detect and report suspicious activity that might be indicative of govt fraud, money laundering, embezzlement, and other financial crimes.

<><> Joint bank accounts might be used to facilitate the transfer of of govt funds. Govt monies may pay for personal and private expenses, credit cards, real estate subsidies and vehicle purchases, and costs to engage in sexual activity.

<><> To cover their tracks, fake invoices might be created to show that money deposited into accounts was being used for legitimate govt purposes.

The scheme might be advanced by issuing phony statements of payments from federal and state sources that actually covered the transfer of funds for govt employees own use.

<><> L/E is directed to get ahold of: (1) copies of C/B/C checks, (2) wire transfers, (3) account statements, (4) invoices, (5) bills, (6) delivery tickets, (7) correspondence including e-mail, contracts, loan agreements, and, (8) any other books or records. L/E should also explore (a) monies paid to brokers, sub-brokers, (b) family members, (c) mortgage brokers, (d) financial managers, and, (e) real estate agents, brokers, and developers.

<><> L/E should scrutinize bank accounts for suspicious activities: (A) large deposits, (B) funds transferred from one account into another, (C) frequent requests for withdrawals, (d) purchases of airline tickets for female companions.

<><> Bank records might also show diversions to secret LLC other accounts, to operate personal businesses. Govt fraud can also be facilitated by withdrawals, gift cards purchases, credit card purchases and intra-bank transfers from govt accounts into personal accounts.

<><> A huge tipoff is whether bank withdrawals support luxurious lifestyle including payments for real estate, investment and stock holdings, jewelry, luxury vehicles, resort travel and gifts from luxury outlets for wives and mistresses.

Taxpayers demand the Bank Secrecy Act be used to prosecute govt fraud pronto.

THE CONYERS MO-—John Conyers STOLE $27,000 tax dollars to pay hush money. “If the woman dropped her complaint and signed a legal document attesting that Conyers had done no wrong, and if she agreed never to disparage him or make subsequent claims, she’d be re-hired as a temporary “no-show” employee and paid $27,111.75 over the course of three months. She accepted the terms.”

A NOTORIOUS CASE OF CONYERS ABUSE the victim was fired then rehired and paid a salary out of his tax-paid office budget.......but told not to show up in his office again.

THIS JUST IN from DETROIT FREE PRESS

EXCERPT: Late Tuesday afternoon, the House Ethics Committee issued a statement saying it was aware of allegations that

(A) Conyers may have engaged in sexual harassment

(B) age discrimination, and,

(C) misuse of government resources.

All are under investigation.

No details yet on the basis for the additional allegations.

when they vote this week on a resolution that would require all lawmakers and their staff members to go through anti-harassment training. The Senate passed a similar measure earlier this month.

All of us peons have been going through this for years.

I imagine she’s done more than a few tricks to get to where she is today. Maybe Conyers has her file.

"Due process."

There is due process and there is due process. I'm reminded of General Schwarzkopf's comment that "Saddam Hussein should be hung from the nearest tree, after a fair trial of course".

In this case I suspect that Nancy's due process will consist of a committee that declares Conyers' sainthood.

This is the money quote:

Pelosi, meanwhile, also said the reaction to sexual misconduct accusations against former President Bill Clinton from that era versus today represent “obviously a generational change.”

So, sexual assault wasn't assault until the current 'era'. I guess Moore doesn't get that "generationl change" pass.

Hell, I’m trolling the Left and defending Franken and Conyers. As long as they stay put, Roy Moore has a clear path to the Senate.

Obviously the Dems know the same, so what AMAZES ME is that the Dems are willing to give up on Moore, just to protect these animals.

It's interesting ... this is the second or 3rd time I've heard the dems defending things because they are 'icons' ... not on merit or facts or anything.

The climate priest yesterday talked about Time mag as an icon (Koch brothers buying it would of course destroy the icon.)

So I guess if something is an icon, regardless of what it's actually made of or does, it must not be messed with. This is not all that surprising since the dem leadership is 4000 years old.

Maybe 'relic' would be a better term than icon.
