Alabama voters may not behave as MSM liberals and NeverTrump conservatives expect them to. Both groups are not taking the bait expensively dug up by Bezos Washington Post reporters sent into Alabama to dig up dirt on Moore. Maybe it is distrust of the media, or maybe it is something else, but Roy Moore has surged into a lead in two different polls of Alabama voters (hat tip: Breitbart).
Alabama's special U.S. Senate election is less than one month away and a new poll shows Republican nominee Roy Moore holding a solid lead over his Democratic opponent Doug Jones.
In a poll conducted by Sky Research on Tuesday Nov. 21 among registered Alabama voters, the results show Moore with 46.7 percent support to Jones' 39.6 percent. 13.7 percent of voters polled remain undecided. With a margin of error of 3.1 percent, Moore maintains significant lead over Jones, but the undecided voters could swing the election either way.
When asked "Do you consider your political views to be more in line with the Republican or Democrat party?," 62.3 percent of 1,059 respondents identified as Republican, while 37.7 percent Democrat.
Another poll a few days earlier also showed Moore with a lead, as reported by Breitbart the same day:
MEMORANDUM TO: Major Donors and SuperPAC DirectorsFROM: Rick Shaftan, Atlantic Media and Research @shaftanRE: Survey, Alabama 11/18-21DATE: 11/22/17 Atlantic Media and Research completed 623 surveys of Alabamavoters who had participated in both the 2014 and 2016 general elections and said their chances of voting in the December 12th special election for U.S. Senate were "definite" or "very likely."

The theoretical margin of error is +/- 3.9 percent in 95 percent of cases at a 50 percent response level. All calls were made by live operators to both landlines and cellphones from our facilities in Rodanthe, North Carolina.43 percent of respondents were reached on cellphones and 27 percent are identified on the voter file as being African-American. The project was completed at the request of several major SuperPAC donors.
SUMMARY Republican Roy Moore holds a 43-40 lead over Democrat Doug Jones under a "worst case" weighting scenario where younger voters turn out at a level equal to that in the 2014 general election. Moore led 43-37 in the raw data. Both candidates have high negatives. Roy Moore has a favorable rating of 31 percent and an unfavorable rating of 39 percent. But Jones is also a net negative, with just 32 percent viewing him favorably and 35 percent unfavorably. These numbers are a bigger problem for Jones than Moore, however. While 88 percent of Jones unfavorables are voting for Moore, Jones is only able to win 75 percent of Moore unfavorables, while Moore still holds 8 percent of their votes.
As more and more of the accusers and their “evidence” get debunked, Moore’s lead will only grow.
And as more and more democrats get “outed” as RECENT sexual predictors and rapists, Moore’s lead will only grow.
A lot of people in Alabama don’t care much for Roy Moore but there are a lot of people saying we cannot let a liberal democrat take our seat.
If Roy Moore wins, the U.S. Senate has a legal obligation to honor the wishes of the people of Alabama and seat him, period.
No b.s., no legal wrangling, no teeth gnashing, just shut up, seat him and let him do the job the good people of Alabama elect him to do, period.
If the U.S. Senate chooses otherwise, they are endorsing nationalizing every single Senate Seat up for re-election in 2018 and if I were them, I might not want to do that. Just sayin'........
That's the way I see it. Don't throw the seat away, deal with the guy (or not) later. You can replace him... or you can just point fingers at Democrats who are corrupted or molesters (or both) like Conyers. If you have to replace him due to public outcry and he resigns... that's OK, too, as you've got a Republican Governor. Whom, I hope, is not in McConnell's GOPe pocket.
If Moore wins, it's a huge and well-deserved FU to Mitch McConnell.
The fly in ointment for McConnells plan was Breitbart scooping the WaPo. It forced the WaPo to publish their story too far in advance of the election for McConnells dirty trick to have its full effect. Moore had time to counter.
Having said that, be very alert Judge Moore, the swamp critters will have another trick before Election Day, you can count on it.
“...NeverTrump conservatives...”
No such critters...Only RINOs...
A 7-point spread in a REGISTERED voters poll?
Maybe it is distrust of the media, or maybe it is something else, .....
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The “something else” is that all of the latest corroborating evidence to come out has corroborated Judge Moore’s version of events ..... he didn’t do what these women are claiming. Their stories are falling apart more each day as actual investigations of the circumstances (such as obtaining court documents) are occurring & witnesses are coming forward.
Is that a realistic turnout model for this year? Alabama FReepers, WSY?
I am an Alabama voter, and this is my position:
I am not a big Roy Moore fan, but I will vote for him:
1- Because he has more credibility than the MSM and Uniparty leaders
2- GOPe poured huge money into electing Luther Strange, but has pulled support from Moore - which means they are looking out for their own interests instead of Alabama voters
3- All the people in Washington that hate Moore have lied to me in the past about what they intend to accomplish legislatively
4- The people who hate Moore in Washington are opposing Donald Trump’s agenda, which I believe is good for regular folks like me in flyover country
5- All the right people in Washington hate Moore, which is the same reason I voted for Trump
All the accusations originate and are quoted from media sources which support positions like: Abortion, sex gender reclassification, gay marriage, and nullification of religious influence on culture. All of which are solidly opposed by candidate Roy Moore.

I am going with 60 40 Moore.
SHOW THE PARTY OF SLAVERY, JIM CROW, THE KU KLUX KLAN, AND DIRTY TRICKS THAT THEIR DIRTY TRICKS NO LONGER WORK! THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE AWAKE!
(THE TIMING ALONE SAYS IT ALL!)
There it is in a nutshell
So why don't you like Roy Moore? What's wrong with him?
They (McConnell, democrats and the media), pulled the trigger a bit too early on this one.
Moore by 8.

Bingo.
When Judge Moore becomes Senator Moore, the wailing & gnashing of teeth will begin:
“Nothing has changed in Alabama since 1964; blacks still fear for their lives.”
“Whites in Alabama voted their worst instincts yesterday, where racism, sexism, homophobia, and indifference to the plight of women all played key roles.”
“If this is Alabama’s way of giving the rest of us the finger, then we who are enlightened & progressive should reply in kind.”
“The Senate must immediately vote to expel this Confederacy-loving interloper once it is established that he has been a KKK member since 1967 with the rank of Grand Kleagle.”
(Whew) Oh, and Elizabeth Warren will refuse to shake his hand.
;^)
Although I totally respect his commitment to his faith and values, he grandstands a little too much for my tastes.
For example, he made his point on the gay marriage issue, but then he put the probate judges in the counties in a tough spot by publicly issuing an opinion. Again, I respect his commitment to his beliefs, but he probably did the cause more harm than good with that move.
