Eminent Republicans like 2012 Presidential Nominee Mitt Romney and National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman Corey Gardner lined up to condemn Judge Roy Moore. Very few are doing the same to Democratic Sen. Al Franken.
Judge Moore, never a favorite among national Republicans, nonetheless appeared to have made a quiet truce with establishment leaders after roundly defeating their preferred Senate nominee, Luther Strange, in the September primary. All that came apart with the advent of sexual misconduct allegations against Moore, despite his consistent and emphatic denials and the lack of any conclusive evidence for any of the accusers stories.
Franken, by contrast, has, at least publicly, been a consistent political foe of virtually the entire Republican Party. He has, for example, been one of the leading voices passing the Russia Story election collusion narrative and has badgered populist Senator-cum-Attorney General Jeff Sessions for months on his accounts of brief meetings with Russian functionaries in an effort to discredit him. Members of the GOP establishment, however, have been much slower to declare Franken persona non grata in the wake a photograph showing him miming an indecent grab of sleeping then-model Leeann Tweedy on a 2006 USO tour of Afghanistan. Tweedy claims that, before the photograph was taken, Franken contrived a scripted kiss in order to force his tongue into her mouth in a rehearsal.

Just a Democrat acting like a Democrat ... so what's the problem ... ??
I hope the Alabama voters do the right thing and ignore this fake issue.
Old political system: Republicans vs. Democrats
New political system: Uniparty vs. everyone else
Old motto: Liberty and justice for all.
New motto: It’s a big club, and you ain’t in it.
Time for a third party, a CONSERVATIVE PARTY, to replace and eliminate the treasonous GOP. My take is that it would not take too long to get a large migration to it. Of course all of the lobbyists and special interests would have to buy in to WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT....the last election did conclusively show that is important.
Coeey Gardiner and Willard Romney should go to Alabama to campaign with Jones if they believes he at they have said.
Headline says it all.
Yesterday, the NRSC called and said the call is recorded for training, etc. Before she could tell me what they were wanting, I unloaded on them.
Told them Stevie Wonder could see Roy Moore smear is a set-up. McConnell’s got to go, and I’m not giving any money to the Republican Party, only directly to candidates. They need to get their act together or they are going to lose the Senate and House.
The caller was there but silent for a long time, so I hung up. I hope the recording goes into a conference.
“Told them Stevie Wonder could see Roy Moore smear is a set-up”
Good line.
That probably helps Judge Moore - additional proof that the Swamp is corrupt and that he is not part of it.
“Old political system: Republicans vs. Democrats

New motto: Its a big club, and you aint in it.”
Gosh, that sums it up very nicely.
The only reason they record those calls is to create a contract. When you say you will send money and don’t, they can technically use the call against you. At least that is the way it was explained to me.
> Time for a third party, a CONSERVATIVE PARTY, to replace and eliminate the treasonous GOP. <
You betcha. But I can’t see that happening. It’s all about the money now. Lobbyists will throw money at the candidates who are most likely to win.
A non-GOP conservative might win a school board seat by going door-to-door. But that same conservative would get crushed trying to win a US House seat. Unless he is a multi-millionaire, he won’t be able to buy the advertisements he needs. Remember, one House member now represents 700,000 people!
Same goes with a group of conservatives who band together. Without the money, there is no traction.
The only way out that I can see is a Convention of the States.
Basic law throughout the U.S. is that for a contract to be valid and enforecable, there has to be a mutual exchange of consideration. You don't incur an legally enforceable debt by promising to send them money and then renegging, because they're not offering you any consideration in exchange for your contribution.
Would love to see Roy Moore call for Al Franken to resign.
I hope the voters of Alabama see this hit job for what it is too, however always remember the words of liberal progressive giant, Vladimir Lenin: Its not he who votes that counts, rather Its he who counts the votes!
The good people of Utah are going to remember this one, Mitt. It's gonna come back and bite you. Framing a righteous man of God as guilty and then not saying a thing about a Senatorial beast who harasses women.
Mitt, you've shown your true colors and there's no way the good people of Utah are gonna let you take Orin Hatch's seat.
Go back to playing your board games and taking long naps, Mitt. We the People are sick and tired of you.
Time to take another look at Mitch McConnell’s questionable separation from the Army. Witnesses acuse “sodomy”. If Mitch treats unproven allegations as credible, then what’s good for the goose (no pun) is good for the gander.
I stand corrected. Do you know why they do that then? I’m sure it isn’t for the stated reason.
Yeah, because their plot just blew up in their faces. Gutless bastards should resign and let real conservative leaders lead the Senate and House. GOPe OUT.
