You betcha. But I can’t see that happening. It’s all about the money now. Lobbyists will throw money at the candidates who are most likely to win.
A non-GOP conservative might win a school board seat by going door-to-door. But that same conservative would get crushed trying to win a US House seat. Unless he is a multi-millionaire, he won’t be able to buy the advertisements he needs. Remember, one House member now represents 700,000 people!
Same goes with a group of conservatives who band together. Without the money, there is no traction.
The only way out that I can see is a Convention of the States.
Fix the problem at a state and local level..
Call convention of states.
Fix the problem and fish the DC toilet once and for all.
short of that, I fear my kids, or grand kids will be part of a civil war.
