The Media That Cried Wolf

In a week in which CNN cried wolf when there was no wolf by falsely condemning Trump for poor fish-feeding habits, is it surprising that decades-old charges of sexual impropriety being leveled against Judge Roy Moore arent being unquestioningly accepted by voters?
We can all remember a number of times when the media has proclaimed a wolf was present when we later discovered they were wrong.
There is Global Warming
err, Climate Change where we were told that by now the world would be doomed but somehow that hasnt happened.
We were told that the black man shot in Ferguson was holding his hands up to surrender.
In the last century the media informed us that overpopulation would lead to mass starvation. Of course, that was bogus.
We were told that many women had been assaulted by Trump but the fact that they all apparently disappeared after the election makes reasonable people wonder if there was a wolf.
The media cant stop talking about Russian colluding with Trump even though after months and months of investigation absolutely nothing has been found.
Clearly a reasonable person would hesitate before assuming that salacious charges raised weeks before a contentious election by a highly biased news source is true. The media has cried wolf so often when there was no wolf that sane people reserve judgement until theres more proof.
That attitude is exacerbated by the fact that when wolves do appear the media often fails to mention them.
We know that none of the major networks have mentioned the fact that for more than two months a Democratic senator has been on trial for accepting bribes.
We know that the media ignored a credible claim that Bill Clinton raped a woman.

The fact is, the media has become aggressively activist - people see it and thus they lose/ have lost trust..

Roy Moore was a shoo in but the Left could not have that....if Moore is forced to quit and this vicious attack works....President Trump will never be able to drain the swamp which he has quietly been doing. The elites on both sides have much to lose if Moore stays the course; think about that. Bannon may be correct........

Newspapers and polls have done a lot to destroy faith in them.
There are a few good exceptions, but I don’t trust much of what I read in the media these days. As for polls, you can’t have much confidence in them at all. I don’t even bother paying attention to them most of the time.
I try to remember which ones were reasoned last time, but with agencies being bought out all the time, it’s a real crap shoot month to month who still owns what.
Good luck papers and polls. If I can’t trust what you publish, why would I pay for a subscription?
Something you may want to consider as your subscription numbers fall through the floor.

Great article. I hope Moore gets elected and immediately calls for Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan to resign for creating a hostile work environment for women (hat tip to Mark Levin)

If you think Roy Moore deserves the benefit of a doubt as I do....use these numbers to notify Mitch McConnell he needs to stop his agreeing to these vicious attacks to stop a seat in the senate going to a Republican.
Tell McConnell to stop the SMEARING:

Yeah, that really got my “dandruff” up! I can’t stay and talk; I’ve got to run to “Walmarks”; my bedroom “suit” has a reading lamp on the headboard, and the “batrees” for it are dead. While I’m there, I might just as well pick up my husband’s “prostrate” medicine. )X-D

We can all remember a number of times when the media has proclaimed a wolf was present when we later discovered they were wrong. Wrong? No. They were LYING.
Wrong includes being mistaken. Too many instances of "mistaken" can only be lying.

People in Alabama KNOW what's going on, and have chose to ignore it.
Some of my relatives in Alabama have told me that at first, they weren't too interested in voting.
But now, all this outside money that is being spent to pay these women to make these false charges, has made them very angry.
So now there is nothing that can prevent them from VOTING FOR JUDGE Roy Moore.
Screw Mitch McConnell AND HIS MONEY, is what they are saying now.
Read this:
ITS A FAKE!
Analyst Says Judge Roy Moore Signature Inside Gloria Allred Accusers Yearbook Was FORGED
The sevens in 1977 to the right of Christmas, are very different from the sevens in the date (12-22-77) above Old Hickory House.
Look at the two versions of the number 7, tweeted Wictor.
12-22-77 and Olde Hickory House were written by a different person, he added.
Next, [Thomas] Wictor points out the R and y in Roy, are not written the same way.
The inflection of the Y is more pronounced in Moore signature as Chief Justice. The R is noticeably longer in the signature of Chief Justice, as well.
During his legal career, Judge Moore became the first full-time Deputy District Attorney in Etowah County, Alabama, and served in this position from 1977 until 1982. In 1984, Judge Moore undertook private practice of law in Gadsden, Alabama, states Moores bio on his campaign website.
The accuser to this day calls him the District Attorney. He was NEVER District attorney. He was DEPUTY DA. DDA, says Wictor. ... "
Check out this little fact from
TheCipher Interesting revelation about the signature in the yearbook and where it probably came from.
Turns out Moore was the judge who ruled against Nelson in her divorce case and the signature is exactly how it was on his ruling - explains the D.A. ( which Nelson has ).
Nelson also said she never had contact with him since the "incident"and failed to mention he was the judge in her divorce case.Roy Moore Attorney Demands Gloria Allred Release Original Yearbook, Contends its a Fraud

Furthermore, after Moore's signature are the initials "D.A.," which Nelson and her attorney say represented were written by Moore because he was district attorney at the time.
But Moore was an assistant district attorney, Jauregui said,
And Moore can't recall ever signing his name with the letters "D.A." after it.
But he had seen it before, Jauregui said, when he was on the bench.
His assistant Delver Adams stamped his signature on papers and then put "D.A." on them, Jauregui said.
That's exactly how the signature appears on the divorce decree that Moore signed, he added.
