During a segment that aired on Friday’s broadcast of Birmingham, AL ABC affiliate WBMA 33/40’s 5 p.m. local news, political reporter Lauren Walsh sought out voters in Columbiana, AL to gauge their reactions to the Washington Post report that alleged Republican U.S. Senate hopeful Roy Moore engaged in inappropriate conduct with four teenage girls more than 34 years ago.
None of the respondents according to Walsh told her they believed the Post’s reporting.
“It’s hard to believe the events that transpired yesterday,” Gordon Fluker of nearby Wilsonville, AL said to Walsh about the Washington Post report.
Fluker’s response was the standard according to Walsh.
“Out of all the voters we spoke with Friday in Columbiana, we didn’t find one voter who believed the Washington Post report about Moore,” she said.

I don’t think it matters what the voters of Alabama believe.
The Washington uniparty elites have decided to remove their right to vote for the person they want to represent them in the Senate of the United States, and that’s going to be that.
The uniparty has also decided that Donald Trump should not be President, regardless of the outcome of the vote in 2016, and while they couldn’t stop him from taking office (although they tried), they’re going to drive him from office, and before they do so they’re going to strip him of the powers of the Presidency, if they can.
If they can neuter Donald Trump’s Presidency, they can certainly overrule the will of the voters of Alabama.
these people have to be fought tooth and nail. this is alabama so this most likely will not cost Moore the election, but in other places where it could be close it would matter.
We can’t let them get away with this now or else it will never stop.

Trump hasn't been neutered. It's a fight. Too many people want to give up rather than see things through. No one wins by resigning.
They're talking about expelling Moore from the Senate if he wins.
They don't have the votes, and I imagine they won't want to set a precedent of expelling people over mere accusations with no charges/conviction, but the fact that it's even being floated is repugnant.

What Happened
At this point what difference does it make?
Fake but accurate.
The people of AL know Moore. It was the same with Trump. He’s lived a very public life. When Gloria Alred trotted out the usual victims, people rejected the hit job. That wasn’t the Trump they’d come to know.
Same with Moore. The people of AL have known him for decades. He’s not the person WaPo’s smear piece is claiming he is.
This needs to backfire on McConnell like an exploding cigar. So many of his dirty tricks have worked—such as stealing the election from Chris Daniel and giving it to swampy Cochran. McConnell needs to lose big time on this one.
They are thinking about postponing the election until.next year
I heard the scenarios laid out by the AL Sec of State. That is one possibility. It is a real sticky wicket as they say. I said it earlier, Judge Moore has through the weekend to srive a stake through this beastly heart of defamation and he needs to do it forcibly. His interview with Hannity did not help him. He needs professional message help and needs it quick. Hopefully Bannon is working the roledex getting things in order as this is between Bannon and McConnell, not Judge Moore and whatever the cuck democrat is runnning.
In my mind, President Trump’s staff needs to reach out to Judge Moore and have them as for the President if the accusations are true. Once that is out of the way, President Trump can then do a quick video Message that can be played at a massive support Rally on say Sunday in Alabama. That might work.
Then again, President Donald the Strong (as the Chinese now refer to him), needs McConnell to pass something so that President can have an agenda.
