True, but in the rest of the article she makes her REAL point: That Donald Trump is awful. That his being elected made women finally speak up and speak out against their abusers. That his election sent women a message that they don’t matter, blah, blah, blah.
Oh, of course. That's been the attempted nonsequitur shift, basically just another talking point. Listen to the megaphone, repeat what ya hear.
Dear Feminists: You’re welcome. - Trump voters.
I glossed over that but you are so right. It is face palm time when you realize that she is criticizing Trump, while overlooking the behavior of Hillary which mirrors the behavior of the women who kept silent. If she were sincere in her thankfulness of what has transpired, she would publicly thank the people of America who elected Trump so that so many women could bring the ruthlessness of Hollywood executives into the light. And honesty would compel her to pound home the point that if Hillary had been elected, the women who had been abused would continue to endure their emotional hell in silence, knowing that they and others would continue to be victimized by Hollywood executives. And, if by any chance she had supported Hillary, she should ask for forgiveness.
