The NHS will ban patients from surgery indefinitely unless they lose weight or quit smoking, under controversial plans drawn up in Hertfordshire.
The restrictions - thought to be the most extreme yet to be introduced by health services - immediately came under attack from the Royal College of Surgeons.

If a normal British citizen had the same injury Hillary had, they would still be waiting on a bed in the hall - if they were lucky

Then it will be: If you don’t think the right way.

My first surgery date was canceled the day before the procedure, because one of the nurses brought my nicotine levels to the surgeon’s attention. Needless to say, I was very upset about it, but learned a bitter lesson.
Nurses or Nurse Practitioners RULE in those situations.
If you want to get to that cold, steel surgery table, you have to go through them first.
The logical progression of socialized health care continues in the UK.
Anyone care to guess what Bernie has to say about this?
