We need to get Canada to stop enabling th Slimes and WaPo by cutting off their newsprint exports.

“Demanding”.
That’s cute.

It's hard for me to imagine a country with which we don't run a balance of trade *deficit*...and I'll assume we do with Canada. That would put us in the driver's seat in any negotiations.
So to Trudeau I'd simply say "non, merci!"

Fine, we demand that canada allow firearm ownership, free speech even for opposing viewpoints, and freedom of religion.
We should send then the Bill of Rights and tell them “that’s quaint, we demand this instead.”

I can't blame Canada for trying hard to do exactly what we'd want our government to do under similar circumstances, but I really have to wonder if they've got the right people advising them. Clearly they have no idea how the U.S. system of government works.
They obviously don't understand U.S. politics, either. I believe there are 27 states with "right to work" laws right now. Of these, all but two of them (Nevada and Virginia) voted for Donald Trump in 2016.

I remember reading a statistic (long time ago, but still generally true, I’m sure) - it went something like this:
The United States does 20% of its trade with Canada.
Canada does 80% of their its with the United States.
They better watch who they piss off...they’re not in much of a position to be making demands.

No, “Canada”. Why don’t you enact right to work instead?

Adorable.
Canada still thinks this is the 19th century, and mother Britian can back them up on their bluster.

Why don’t the hosers admit they are a failing society of losers and stop the pretending. These fools need to just sit back, eat a lot of moose jerky and drink crappy beer. That is the limit of their expertise and knowledge.

I have the right to work. My employer has the right to fire me if I don’t do a good job. I like it that way. Unions and Canada and NAFTA can pound sand.

Obviously those (organized crime / Mafia) who run the AFL-CIO are a major influence on the Canadian government. They obviously have DC by the balls. I wonder why they aren't trying to unionize labor in Mexico. If they are, why don't we hear about it? I'm being facetious.

Perhaps we need the wall on the northern border. Right to work favors freedom. Hard left socialists hate freedom. Canada can stuff it.
