That will NEVER happen.
Considering how un-American many of the union leadership have become, that is setting a pretty high barrier to free and open discussions.
Except for collecting funds for shutting down industries, most of the private-sector unions have not contributed much to the overall economy of the US, beyond their negative effect, just look at General Motors. And the public-sector unions are engaged in the most one-sided negotiations found anywhere in the world.
Am I anti-union? Hell, no. But I AM quite anti-corruption. And “union” has become but another definition for “corruption”.
