President Trumps speech in Phoenix brought out the usual cast of misfits and miscreants.
And no, Im not just referring to the Antifa anarchists who were, for the most part, denied their typical practice of wielding clubs, hurling feces, throwing rocks, setting vehicles ablaze and destroying buildings.
Im talking about chronic Trump critics like James Clapper, the former Director of National Intelligence. Spouting off on CNN immediately after the speech, Clapper said he questioned the presidents fitness to be in this office."
Clapper seems to be making a career out of trashing Trump. Hes like a guy who cant resist cramming a cannoli in his mouth every time he passes a pastry shop. Whenever Trump speaks, Clapper starts yapping. It is no coincidence that his mouth, and the lie that came out of it back in 2013, is what should have landed him behind bars.
While testifying before Congress, Clapper was asked, Does the NSA collect any type of data at all on millions or hundreds of millions of Americans? The DNI responded, No.
It was a breathtaking lie, of course. Soon thereafter, the story broke that the National Security Agency had, indeed, been doing exactly what Clapper denied under oath. When confronted with his lie, he told a reporter, I responded in what I thought was the most truthful, or at least untruthful manner by saying no. Huh?
Later, Clapper apologized for his clearly erroneous answer, but explained he had simply forgotten all about the massive government operation to secretly collect metadata on hundreds of millions of U.S. citizens. Thats like saying Christmas slipped his mind.

Gregg Jarrett: I Might Not Have Survived Without Roger Ailes
http://www.adweek.com/tvnewser/gregg-jarrett-i-might-not-have-survived-without-roger-ailes/258944
Agreed. He was very anti Trump from what I remember. I don’t watch fox anymore (just Hannity) and he hosted a show that had Judith Miller on a lot. It was generally anti Trump. Then he started appearing with Hannity and I’m thinking, ‘didn’t he used to hate Trump?’ Weird.
He pointed out that these state officials were breaking the law and are jubjext to 5 years in jail for each offense. If only someone would tell Sessions about this because he surely doesn't know about this law.
He further pointed out that any government official that ignored this law and someone was harmed as a result, then the penalty of that felony goes to life. Kate's family has recourse to sue for big damages. Bet they can't find a lawyer to take the case or a judge to hear it. Unless Rip Van Sessions wakes up.
Don't forget his horrible nuclear brinksmanship with North Korea. That was big in the news for a few days.
Thank you for the post. I thought I had remembered Greg as being a rather obnoxious (think Greg Gutfeld) anti-Trumper. In fact, I think Gutfeld was also an anti-Trumper. Both seem to have come to their senses regarding Trump, although Gutfeld is still obnoxious. I am quite enjoying listening to Greg Jarrett.
I don’t know about Gregg’s history but appears to be one of the good guys in news media
Why is Clapper still among us?
Hersh said that Brennan was an "A$$hole", and that Clapper was the same, but with less brains than Brennan.
Both men were also upset that their kickbacks and cushy board jobs from companies like Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) were endangered when Trump was elected. Hersh said the men didn't want to live on "just their pensions", but expected mega payoffs from the corporations (who in turn are enabling the illegal surveillance and spying on innocent Americans).

As for his alcoholism, he isn't the first and he isn't the last to fall prey to that. His story of redemption and healing is inspirational. The leftists, however, attack him on Wiki for dying he hair.
I noticed that they don't attack Hillary or Pelosi for doing the same thing - but then again, standards mean nothing to cretins.
Lol. That’s him. But he needs a Muslim prayer rug in front of him.
Clapper and many others have a big stake in the Trump Presidency. If you were looking at the possibility of a lifetime in prison for conspiring to overturn the results of the 2016 election you would not be saying nice thinks about Trump either.
Plus the complicity of Jug Ears in all of this, and the final wake up that Brennan is a Muslim and in my opinion was a plant by Barry to ensure the slow creep toward the Caliphate wherever it could be aided.
NSA rogue agents put that one in your pipe if you are watching us .........
Remember, unlike BLM and the other pseudo concerned groups we at FR actually love our country and many of us have served to defend it , including our fathers, grandfathers, other family members. Not like the Craigslist, Welfare recipients hired by their Slave Master George Soros or the Dem party.
There, I really feel good having said/written that :):):)
Totally agree, Jarrett is doing a good job and is sounding like a conservative.
he knows that we will tell each other about that, and maybe tune in to Fox to watch him, instead of the rest of the mediots that now occupy slots as informed commentators...
We like to pick on the journalists but somebody is paying them and that somebody is the one who makes sure they get a current script to read and that its read as written. At the bottom of this corruption there is little doubt its the crony elites who are getting fat and rich from federal loot.
Well stated and so true.
To prove the point on scripts we were watching our local news the other night, and it featured a story about a house fire, where animals were rescued.
In stead of using the word “ recused” the talking head said “ three dogs arrested”
We played it back several times to make sure...... and put on the subtitles...
Yep, that’s what they read. Ron Burgundy you would have been proud:):)
Gregg Jarrett used to be an innocuous, slightly anti-Trump fill-in news commentator on Fox, who got busted a couple of years back for DUI
Also many probably don’t recall that “ concerned Bret Baier” had to take a break for depression.
Nice that people can overcome their life challenges , but don’t then sit there and wax on about our president and your scripted take down.
You have missed the point that he’s ours and like family we will defend him to the end as he does want to MAGA instead of suck the life out of us for personal gain like the current political class
Thank you for linking that article!
It’s most inspiring and says a lot about Roger Ailes and the determination of Gregg Jarrett to beat the beast.
Yep, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if Clapper and Brennan are behind the Russia thing and ticked off about their SAIC cash cow.
In my view they’re both snakes.
I agree... we might actually have a reporter on our hands.
