A week has passed since the arrest of former House staffer Imran Awan, and the establishment media have given the event only superficial coverage. Awan, a Pakistani immigrant, was formerly employed by more than 30 House Democrats as an IT technician. Most members fired him following the announcement in February of an FBI probe into his potentially criminal behavior during his tenure as a Hill staffer. However, he remained an employee of Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz’s D.C. office until he was arrested last Monday while attempting to flee to Pakistan.
News of Awan’s arrest first broke on Fox News the morning after he was apprehended, while CNN, NBC, and ABC took more than a day to cover the story.
Thus far, CNN’s only on-air acknowledgement of the controversy surrounding Awan has been an early-morning segment running just under four minutes, in which Jake Tapper and Tom Foreman emphasized that Awan had been arrested only for bank fraud, and Foreman dismissed all other allegations against Awan as conspiracy theories.

There’s another odd feature of this Awan story. If you add up his little private business deals, the fake car company, the cash/cashier checks for rental payments on his eight homes that he was renting....huge amount of income for someone who lives in Virginia. Virginia has typically a mega tax structure and anyone who makes over $100,000 a year is paying a hefty tax bill.
I’m just taking a guess here, but you don’t see the Virginia state tax office showing much interest in what might be a million or two in taxable income that was hidden from public view. That’s not typically the behavior of the state tax office.

Of course, even concerning Watergate, that was basically child’s play when it came to things like electoral fraud and identification and intimidation of political opponents that particularly FDR and LBJ engaged in.
Oh might that be because the Dear VA. Gov. was the former head of the Clinton-run DNC (and also a mega-donor to Ms. FBI McCabe)? Tax fraud...no problem for a Democrat-supported spy network.
Oh, I’m sure Governor Terry McAuliffe will have his tax people get right on the task of figuring out the “unstated income” of this individual and the sources of that income. Just as I’m sure Acting FBI Director McCabe will have his most trusted, most competent and most incorruptible agents pursuing the same information.
News people aren’t going to report it. They don’t want to end up dead.

Re the headline...like we need any more examples to get it that the media is horribly biased in favor of the Left. I’m not so much interested in examples as I am in figuring out what we can do about it.

CNN's ignorance is showing........ it is common in these cases to charge an individual under arrest with the crime for which their is the most evidence.
L/E is not prone to show its hand as to the extent of an investigation. Interrogations usually elicit more evidence.
The spiking of stories has been going on for a long time. Seems to me, however, that it is now worse than ever. No wonder some people say they are far more concerned about the dishonesty of MSM than the Russians.

seems that something very big and ball is about to happen and the MSM MEDIA is trying to cover the tracks of the DNC by trying to destroy TRUMP.
