GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip Atayeb Odeh is crazy about dogs.
He got his first when he was one-year-old, his second aged three and third when he was five. Hes now 17 and proudly shows off Liza a gangly and gregarious German shepherd.
But the high school senior cannot take Liza and her pal Rex a white-and-brown mutt beyond the front gate of his family's compound.
Hamas the militant group that runs the poor, Israeli-blockaded Gaza Strip recently decreed dogs cant be walked in markets, roads and along beaches.
That ruling angered dog owners in the Palestinian enclave, where daily life already included widespread power shortages, scant running water and crumbling services.
I love dogs and they like me too," Odeh told NBC News. I like playing with dogs, having them around."

U mean they dont like dogs? Dogs can fight back when people try to do something unusual. Goats, apparently, must be different.

That’s a nice family compound there for Gaza. I wonder how connected he is to Hamas. I’m surprised dogs haven’t been long banned entirely.

Mohamedans don’t like dogs, especially big dogs, and especially big, black dogs. They are ‘haram’. (The dog in the picture only has two strikes against him, not three.)
My guess is that the Christians and Jews that MadMo plundered, had big, black guard dogs.

Islam considers dog to be unclean. They poison them in many many countries.
Iran collects them and buries them alive with a bulldozer.

And yet another reason we must not allow them to make a foothold in the US anymore than they have.
I will take a dog over these ingrates any day.

They're not very fond of children, either:
Hamas
Children as combatants
The Israeli government released a video compiled mostly from Arab news sources showing Palestinian children under the age of 15 going through military training and carrying and firing arms. The video's narration explains that Hamas indoctrinates these child combatants and that Hamas operators send the children "on missions from which they would not risk their own lives". According to the Israeli government, the children are used as spotters, to transport explosives and weapons, sent to play in areas to deter Israeli attacks and are sent unknowingly with explosive devices in their schoolbags to be blown up in the vicinity of Israelis.[477] The United Nations defines the use of children for military purposes as a war crime and a form of slavery.
Although Hamas admits to sponsoring summer schools to train teenagers in handling weapons they condemn attacks by children. Following the deaths of three teenagers during a 2002 attack on Netzarim in central Gaza, Hamas banned attacks by children and "called on the teachers and religious leaders to spread the message of restraint among young boys".[478][479] Hamas's use of child labor to build tunnels with which to attack Israel has also been criticized, with at least 160 children killed in the tunnels as of 2012.[480]
