A North Carolina high school recalled its yearbooks after officials saw a senior's quote which read "Build that wall" ascribed to President Donald Trump -- but the move drew criticism online.
Yearbooks for Richmond Early College High School in Hamlet were recalled because some senior quotes were considered controversial, The News & Observer reported.

Destroy conservative speech, and you destroy conservative ideas, that’s the long term goal, and it’s working. Institutions you’d never thought would are squashing free speech all over the country.
All the liberals went into teaching, arts, administration, and entertainment fields. Then they hire only liberals. They had a long term game plan. We didn’t have one.
Without those huge gums and teeth plus overbite she’d actually look good.
Surely someone will sue. This abridging of free speech must be stopped. These kids won’t get their yearbooks because the speech police determined a quote, and a political quote at that, is controversial? The exact kind of speech that is protected from the government is being squelched by the government. I hope Trump sends the feds in and forces those yearbooks distributed.
What a damn shame.
Hope some parents lodged protests.
BTW, everybody should watch the great heartwarming Oval Office video of President Trump congratulating the Victory Christian School Model Rocket Team from Charlotte, NC., on Friday. They named their winning rocket “Trump,” because it “could conquer all!!!”
What’s more, the entire team save perhaps one student were African-Americans. The sheer enthusiasm and pure joy was off the charts. President Trump wished them luck in their next contest in Northern Virginia, promised that he would be watching and invited them back the the White House when/if they won to celebrate.

Oh, but if she commented “death to those who insult islam” she would’ve been class valedictorian and the UN would in invite her to the Gen Assy and make her an honorary human rights ambassador. Another reason TruTV needs a new show, World’s Dumbest School Administrators. There’s more than enough material to keep Danny Bonaduce, Tonya Harding, Loni Love, etc employed for life.

If the student was a liberal from a liberal family and made derogatory comments about Trump his family or his or her feelings about immigrants there would be no such thing
Two days ago was Grandparents Day at my grandchildren's (2) elementary school.
In my third grade grandson's room were those familiar alphabet/cursive cards on the upper wall, but they were small (about 4" X 6") and I asked after the third grade presentation if the teacher taught cursive writing and she replied, "No, but later on in the elementary curriculum, if a child shows an interest they will teach it"
(??? yup, that's what she said ??? )
I asked her if she could read the original Declaration of Independence and The Bill of Rights (and because she really IS a stupid liberal not accustomed to adult thought concepts) immediately replied "Yes"
I countered ... ,
"They can't .... you are a dangeropus elitist and you should speak out against this practice of making America stupid"
I left her staring because she went blank-stare and said "I try", but she had vanished.
THAT'S why I keep getting re-elected and staying in the trenches.

It would of been bad and stupid and childish and illegal enough to remove the page from all the yearbooks but to confiscate all the yearbooks entirely?!?! Do they think the rest of the pages were tainted by the mention of Trump’s name? Thanks to unhinged liberal irrational hatred for Trump, everyone is punished. The students get no yearbooks, the school loses the revenue from the yearbooks, and the poor girl gets blamed and ostracized for expressing her free speech.
Never fear though. Im sure the ACLU is falling all over themselves rushing to her defense

If I were the kid who picked that slogan and forced every yearbook to be confiscated I WOULD BE SO PROUD OF MYSELF! I’m not even being sarcastic. This will make that student a LEGEND forever in that school.

First, what happened to free speech?
Second, who really cares? That is a lot of money and time lost with no real justification or meaningful impact. Clearly the action of Democrats and other leftists. Looks like fascism to me.
That has been a great school since it opened about 10 years ago. Highly involved parents and high moral standards. Of course, connected to a great church!
I graduated from a North Carolina high school over 40 years ago. A quote I selected by Thomas Jefferson appears next to my photo. I suppose in today’s America the recall of my yearbook is imminent.
