Former Breitbart Senior Editor Milo Yiannopoulos declared that he would “make sure” UC Berkeley would “become the free speech capital of the United States once again” in response to the cancellation of Ann Coulter’s event on campus. “Awful to see my friend Ann Coulter forced to cancel her speech,” wrote Milo on his official Facebook page. “I don’t understand why Young America’s Foundation would capitulate so close to victory. Ann can hardly be expected to show up without insurance, security or a venue, so I completely understand why she had to cancel. She is Ann Coulter, after all.”
“My proposed Free Speech Week will proceed as planned later this year,” he continued, before adding, “I WILL BRING AN ARMY IF I HAVE TO.”

I don't much care to have a Homosexual as the figurehead for "Freedom of Speech", but he is absolutely right about this. If anyone dare attempt to suppress freedom of speech with violence, the proper course of action is to go into their stronghold and beat the sh*t out of them until they get the message that this right will not be abridged and we will go to war with you if you try.
Once you take out the strongest advocates for suppression of speech, nobody else will want to mess with you, and the principle becomes universally accepted thereafter.
Milo is obnoxious. He is also right on this one.
We get in trouble embracing uncritically someone like Milo, but he has a point and he is on our side on this one.
(BTW his comments on pedophilia were taken completely out of context - dare I defend him. Much like O’Reily and Hannity, the left will do anything to take out our point men (or in Milo’s case, Nancy Boys.)

That is what is irritating about him. He is so out there that I am surprised he doesn’t bring boyfriends to fool around with WHILE he is doing his speeches.
But the CONTENT of his speeches is 90% right and Right. And standing for Free Speech and not letting it get shut down by the anti-freedom brownshirts is an important stance that Coulter whiffed on.
Milo does more than just talk. He's actually fought in the trenches.

I am guessing her security detail advised against appearing. I would imagine this would put her guards at a 80% probability of having to get physical with protestors. Not a good position for private security. Opens up way too much for lawsuits etc...
