Sure. He spent three days in the USA with Moroni and gave him the Golden Plates on which the Book of Mormon was written.

That is a valid question for those that are not 100% faithful that it did. There is no scientific evidence to it happening or not happening.

There is historical evidence that it happened.

That’s the thing about faith. If you don’t have it you can’t understand it. And if you do, no explanation is necessary.

But what I find fascinating is the existence of evidence outside faith.

The article says: “ If those Disciples were merely speaking metaphorically about some sort of gauzy, feel-good, we-sensed-his-presence sort of experience, they would not have been likely to devote the rest of their lives, at considerable danger to their very lives, to the cause of proclaiming that their teacher actually was God Incarnate.”

Evidence that the resurrection really happened, that is.

The empty tomb, for starters.

First, for forensic evidence, there would have to be a body, living or dead, to prove otherwise.
Second, there were hundreds of people who saw him alive, afterwards, recorded in books.

The account and history and spiritual effect all mirror the traditional explanation.

And if you don’t have the faith to stand on, you’re not going to see clearly enough to believe the evidence. I guess that’s the same as what you said.

Thanks. Anything good that I have isn’t of me, it’s of God.

You were relaying, right-on.
When that came to mind ---I didn't notice the pun 'till it was done.

There is no scientific evidence to [the Resurrection] happening or not happening. That's not a very compelling statement, inasmuch as the event happened over 2000 years ago.
What "scientific" evidence would one expect given that fact?
