How does the national media try to control how Americans perceive the Trump presidency? One way is to not report on actions that make the Trumps look good. Take for example the Good Friday visit by First Lady Melania Trump to HomeSafe, a home for abused girls in Lake Worth, Florida,located a few miles south of the the Winter White House at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach where President Trump is spending the Easter weekend with his family.

The First Lady’s visit to HomeSafe was unannounced, however a press release was issued by HomeSafe and several photos were posted online including at the @FLOTUS Twitter account.
Yet, with the exception of the local Palm Beach Post and FootwearNews which focused on the shoes she wore to HomeSafe, no media reported on the First Lady’s visit.

and girls, and the address is not public. They don’t want the abusers to find the victims.
Our beautiful First Lady was thinking about the safety of these girls, I bet.

CIA money - but it amounts to the same thing. Most big city “news” papers have been losing money outside their government contracts. That’s why Jeff Bezos, oligarch of Amazon, was able to buy the Washingtoon Compost for a dollar, and Mexican oligarch Carlos Slim to buy the New York Slimes.
Fake news does not just slant stories, they daily choose what to cover and what not to cover. The news is heavily filtered and then what they do choose to report is slanted.
I see the issue of not reporting most of what happens here on the border. Major events happen, if reported at all it is only locally unless someone with some weight pushes it. Murders, kidnappings, shoot outs...nope most not reported.
The problem is many people refuse to believe things that are not reported. My liberal snow bird neighbors think if a major media outlet (other than FOX) doesn’t report it then we are all just making things up.

This is deliberate and intentional. The media chooses to suppress this with full knowledge and awareness.
