United's now-infamous slogan, "Fly the friendly skies," is being revamped on social media following the company's latest public relations nightmare.

Users took to Twitter Tuesday to post their own ideas of a more suitable slogan for the airline, using the hashtag #NewUnitedAirlinesMottos.

“””Every article says “airline employees”. Were they flight crew or something else?”””

Considering the gross incompetence of the employees at United Airlines from the CEO on down, I fully expect United Airlines beat the crap out of a paying passenger so four United Bureaucratic Pukes could bump after they thumped.

I truly doubt it was four crew members otherwise it would have been so reported at the beginning.

Fox Business is ripping the United CEO a new one at every chance they get today. And the CEO needs to be fired by the Board immediately for being so stupid as to say they were ‘reaccomodating’ the passenger they beat.

In my world. A ‘doctor’ convicted of trafficking drugs for sex isn’t a ‘doctor’ anymore....

Can you imagine if they had selected a Black Lives Matter activist to drag off the flight?

I'm going out on a limb and saying that if the "random passenger" had a name like "Shaneequa Jackson", then perhaps the random drawing might have been quietly done a second time until a safer name had been selected.

Yes. I see you’re thinking farther along in lawsuit territory. Within their rights - what happened with security not employed by them isn’t the thing here, IMO.

They had already delayed the flight two hours. That kind of plays into the reason that no one was willing to give up their seat because the airline was a bunch of incompetents.

I would say, once again, that a total and complete lack of planing on the part of the airline did not in any way justify their actions here.

The airlines action, while it may be in the fine print that they can haul you off the plane because they are total imbeciles who can not figure how to get their crews from point a to point b without hauling YOU out of the seat you have paid for and have already sat there two hours while they were playing playing tiddlywinks, was very very wrong.

Nothing else matters. Not who he was, not who he was on the phone with, not that the pilot was a minority female who had AIDS, nothing.

You tell me. My read is airport security did the damage after enforcing the airline’s rights according to procedure.

I don’t understand this hard-on for the airlines. Lord knows I don’t generally like them at all, but this hysteria over some doctor somebody is just out of hand.

Okay, pump his case up for a bloody nose and busted lip for not obeying rules and due orders he was bound by. Give him 10, 20 - 50 millions of dollars and loss of stock equity in a lawsuit he was on his phone about with his lawyer.. Sure. Go at it. They’ll just increase your next ticket price....sheesh.

The reason I'm curious is because:
1. I've been there, but it was because of flight crew issues etc. I get it if it's important to get a flight crew in place.
2. I had an airline employee try to entice me out of a seat I had booked for an overseas business trip, one where he missed the part about "I have to be there on time". Something didn't smell right, and I got the distinct impression he was trying to do someone else a "favor".

BTW, I don't fly unless I have to. Too much of a pain in the neck anymore. And if those employees weren't flight crew, that just adds to my attitude.

Yeah, I won’t read any more of them. You can’t beat perfection.

Yes. Your personal seat is paramount........it’s that way for anybody. Common sense and propriety need not be involved.
