Ronald Reagan's major achievement in his long war against the Soviet Union: presenting communism as a joke -- exposing the lies of the Soviet regime, exposing the misery under which its people were living, and explaining why Western values were preferable to Communist ones. This is exactly what the West, Hirsi Ali explains, should be doing with radical Islam.
Western civilization is a humanist vision in which Christianity integrated Jewish wisdom, Greek philosophy and Roman law, thereby giving Western culture its distinctive character: freedom of speech and of the press, equal justice under law, the primacy of the individual, separation of religion and state, freedom of religion and from religion, property rights, sexual equality, an independent judiciary, and independent education, among other values. This is what radical Islam wants to destroy. That is why terrorists are attacking our churches, the State of Israel and why they are subverting democracy to turn it into Islamic law, sharia.

According to the Lebanese Christian Phalangist radio, the American bombardment pounded artillery and missile batteries from Shuweifat, just south of Beirut, all the way to around Shtaura, 22 miles east of the capital. The radio said 30 Druse and Syrian gun batteries had been knocked out along with a Druse military command post.

President Regan used humor, good intel and actions that destroyed the USSR’s economy and power in our world.
The truth of Jesus is the only real weapon to change the hearts and minds of sinful men. Bibles, not bullets, is the only way to make lasting change in humanity’s heart. If Islam were wiped out, something else just as heinous is already there to take its place (materialistic atheism, for example). The pride and heart of man is rebellious against God. Christians are going to have to stand up to terrible persecution, which is already going on in Islamic countries (as it always has) - but the Love and Truth of God prevails.

The first way to face up to Islam is to stop this excuse making of calling it's practitioners extreme or radial.

Following your religion the way Allah and Muhammad want it done does not make you an extremist or a radical or a hijacker of the religion.
It is the fundamentals of Islam itself , subjugate, convert or kill all the non-believers that is the ideology that is extreme by non- Muslim standards.
Believers in Islam are just doing what their God and Muhammad want done to get an eternal reward with Allah.
Keep Muslims out of your country because you never know when a Muslim will realize that getting temporary worldly rewards pales by comparison to eternal rewards with Allah, and goes on a killing spree against us Kafirs. - Tom Muhammad -Tayimaya- Wahhab - bin Laden- Isis IMHO have the right approach to Islam.
The rest of the so-called Muslims are sitting on the sidelines like the heretics and cafeteria Muslims they are.
Many of these Muslim heretics are trying to twist and distort Islam to accommodate their modern beliefs for a more peaceful atmosphere.
