Gorsuch's Foes Embarrass the Senate [Incl.Sen. Hatch Support of Ginsburg, Beyer]
The Wall Street Journal ^ | March 26, 2017 | Sen. Orrin G. Hatch

Posted on 03/28/2017 8:19:24 PM PDT by JeepersFreepers

Although I am a committed conservative, I have voted for the Supreme Court nominees of both parties—even those I might not have chosen myself—as long as I have been assured of their fitness for office. I helped shepherd through President Clinton’s nominees, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer. Both had shown themselves to be honorable, capable jurists with reputations for careful, non-ideological work on federal appeals courts.

Ginsburg, Breyer "with reputations for careful, non-ideological work"!!! Really Senator Hatch.

Hatch plans to run for another term although he will be 83. These old senile RINOs need to retire to a nursing home, not run again. Unfortunately, Utah will probably reelect him.

What exactly would a liberal’s ‘fitness for office’ be? You know damn well they will never vote in an objective manner-

I agree. His initial run for the seat was on the premise his opponent was too old. Now look at yourself you pathetic geriatric turkey. Go away Hatch, you have far outlived your usefulness.

Hatch is a leftist imbecile. He is,in part, magnificently responsible for the ruination of this country. He tells me a great deal about mormons as a people. Not good.

You would think that after years of being made fools of by democrats that republicans would have learned that
they can’t adhere to Marquis of Queensbury rules when the opposition is nothing but filthy, slimy, gutter-snipes.

Playing fair and acting the gentleman only gives democrats a good laugh.

He ushered in two hard-core Marxists onto the bench, who should never have EVER qualified to be on the SCOTUS. They remove Right Reason and God’s Laws from Rule of Law—our “Justice” (virtue) system and they remove Natural Law Theory-—basis of our Constitution-—from our Constitution.

How in the h*ll can that be “non” ideological—when they are hard-core Marxists who don’t believe in Objective Truth (God)??? They actually should be in prison for treason now, since their rulings threw OUT the Supreme Law of the Land, science and reason—Our very Constitution.

We are Post-Constitutional and have been for quite awhile, thanks to evil, dumb people like Senator Hatch.

The Democrats are not regarded by Republicans as the “opposition.” Republicans, even before they became a mere appendage of the DNC always had the feeling that the Democrats were the Natural Rulers of this society and that Republicans only needed to step in occasionally to straighten out the economic mess the Natural Rulers would get into, then fade again into the back benches of Congress.

Will the People of Utah please pick up the white courtesy phone? Right-thinking conservatives need to give you a piece of our mind to assist you in the voting booth. Also, your old Uncle Orrin is wandering the aisles, drooling on himself and talking about his “achievements” with his hand in his pants. Please claim him and take him home...
