His name was Cayler Ellingson, and he was 18 years old when he was run down by a drunken 41-year-old driver who later told police he killed the teenager because he was a Republican. It is a crime eerily similar to the murder of Heather Heyer, the young woman who was murdered by a neo-Nazi in during unrest in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2017 when he plowed his car into a left-wing march. The difference: the media will never blame Joe Biden the way they tried to blame Donald Trump.

Gizmodo reported on the leaks. A hostile offshoot of the defunct neo-Nazi group Vanguard America, Patriot Front formed in late August 2017 less than three weeks after the white nationalist “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. (James Alex Fields Jr., who was convicted in December 2018 of killing 32-year-old anti-racist protester Heather Heyer at the rally, was seen there holding a shield emblazoned with the VA logo. VA later denied he was a member.) The split from VA followed months of infighting between Thomas Rousseau, the Front’s founder, and VA leader Dillon Irizarry, who was seen accusing Rousseau in...

Regarding your editorial “The Tax Increases to Come” (Nov. 13): Your concerns about our Millionaires Surtax Act focus on the very rich—but fail to consider everyone else. Our plan asks the top 0.2% to invest more to open the doors of the American dream to others. The U.S. is at a serious crossroads. The IMF, OECD and even the Journal’s reporting document how extreme inequality constrains economic growth. In fact, the Journal reports that wealth has more than doubled for the top 1% of households since 2003, while others mostly tread water. This gap limits educational opportunities, social mobility and...

Editor’s note: The subject of this story is being identified because he’s pushed radical rhetoric and has advocated for politically-motivated violence from behind a mask. The Daily Caller News Foundation does not and will not publish truly private information such as home addresses. The Daily Caller News Foundation has determined that an influential Antifa leader uses aliases to spread radical and often violent rhetoric while concealing his actual identity. Joseph “Jose” Alcoff works with congressional Democrats as part of his day job as a manager with a DC-based advocacy group. But he spreads socialist and communist propaganda when going by...

Although I am a committed conservative, I have voted for the Supreme Court nominees of both parties—even those I might not have chosen myself—as long as I have been assured of their fitness for office. I helped shepherd through President Clinton’s nominees, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer. Both had shown themselves to be honorable, capable jurists with reputations for careful, non-ideological work on federal appeals courts.

He’s a hypocrite. No, this is not name-calling. It’s not hateful rhetoric. It’s just the plain truth. Rep. Don Beyer (D-Va.) has introduced H. Res. 569, a foolish piece of legislation condemning “hateful rhetoric towards Muslims in the United States.†The legislation already has 105 co-sponsors, all Democrats, with more supporters jumping in every day. Rep. Beyer, who was a car dealer before entering Congress in 2015, submitted the resolution on Dec. 17, just over two weeks after a Muslim couple – in the name of Islam – wounded 22 people and killed 14 innocent souls in San Bernardino, Calif....

Image courtesy Shutterstock. In the days and weeks since the Paris and San Bernardino terrorist attacks, Democrats have spent a lot of time worrying about an anti-Muslim backlash, and have proposed a House resolution to "condemn violence, bigotry, and hateful rhetoric towards Muslims in the United States" to deal with the problem. There does seem to have been an uptick in hateful incidents in the past month, although, as PJ Media's Rick Moran reported, one of the incidents turned out to be a fake hate crime. Most of the incidents are still under investigation. Still, despite Democrat hand-wringing over...

A group of House Democrats attended a prayer service at a Northern Virginia mosque on Friday and expressed their solidarity with the country’s Muslims. “We don’t all have the Donald Trump version of Muslims in America,†Beyer, who encouraged other House members to attend services at mosques across the country, said while at Dar al-Hijrah Friday.

Democratic lawmakers are planning to attend prayer services at a Washington-area mosque that has been accused of acting as a front for Hamas and that served as the home of terrorist spiritual leader Anwar al-Awlaki, who reportedly mentored two of the 9/11 hijackers. On the heels of a deadly mass shooting by two Muslim individuals in San Bernardino, California, a group of Democratic lawmakers said they would attend Friday prayer services at the Dar al-Hijrah Mosque in Virginia, which has been linked to the financing of terrorists and where al-Awlaki served as the spiritual leader. The Democrats set to attend...
