On this weekends broadcast of Fox News Sunday, host Chris Wallace questioned Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) over comments he made during an MSNBC interview last Friday where he said that the intelligence community had transcripts of conversations between Russia and the Trump campaign.
After playing the video clip of Coons saying there are transcripts that providevery critical insights into whether Russia was colluding with the Trump campaign, Wallace asked, Senator, were talking here about the President of the United States, isnt there more than a whiff of McCarthyism for you as a U.S. Senator to say there are transcripts out there that provide insight into whether or not there was collusion, but you dont know whether they exist?
After initially defending his comments as an attempt to encourage the Senate Intelligence Committee to be given access to the raw intelligence, Coons admitted there is no hard evidence of collusion, and apologized.
It did actually surprise me that he did what he did this morning....
Understand.....
This crap sounded so familiar (in a bad way) that I looked and found this on Reddit: “It was apparently Tom Foley (D) House Speaker who said: ‘The seriousness of the charge mandates that we investigate this.... Even though there is no evidence... the seriousness of the charge is what matters.’ When will the (D)emocrats remember this sterling interpretation of Constitutional Law...?”
They will never remember but it’s important that we remember and never forget their savage treatment of our language and our laws.
(2) the DNC was hacked by an insider (Seth Rich) and the FBI would have determined that.

Wouldn’t an insider have access, so no need to hack? Can a forensic IT investigation show things like copying files to a thumbdrive? Are all password entries logged? Are there logs of what transpired in each access session?
I’m just an end user, so I really don’t know much about this stuff, outside of what I see in film/TV dramas.
The Venona Project proved Joe to to be 100% correct.
How dare Wallace compare an honorable republican commie hunter to a stinking Marxist Dhimmicrat?
100% agree. Leopards don’t change their spots. This goes for cruz as well as rubio.
First, you cannot use classification as an argument for covering up a crime.
Second, Trump is the original classifying authority and can declassify information if he chooses to do so.
Release the transcripts so we know what was discussed.
Russia is the enemy not dems and pubbies - I disagree. Both elephants and donkeys are the enemy of the American people.
More than a whiff of the democrat / Obama / Deep State / Treason / Sedition narrative falling apart, I’d venture to say
Too late!! He opened the door by saying transcripts and unfortunately the MSNBC prog was too happy to question him and Wallace was too eager to clsim McCarthyism that neither asked, transcripts of what!! But now Trump can say if they have transcripts, show them. Oh and how were these obtained. Friday night Coons may have cracked the Left’s foundation, very unintentionally.
McCarthy was certainly NOT 100% correct, he accused all kinds of people of being in bed with the Russians, created hysteria, and damaged any number of careers.
“Chris Wallace is a liberal. He is NOT to be trusted at any level, period.”
Agree with you....my hubby always says that Chris Wallace is a CBS REJECT. I agree with him on that score too.
What’s more than a whiff? A smidgen, that’s what.
The flaw in Wallace’s comparison is that McCarthy was right. Moscow did have agents infiltrating the US government, media and Hollyweird.
I agree and as soon as those black listed were able to get back into the Hollywood scene things went down for our country. IMO, Communism was soon after voided from our schools history lessons.
he’s in love with the trillion-dollar infrastructure projects. That’s no secret. which makes me concerned about the project.
Coons is a hair deprived weasel. He has no credibility.
Exactly. Coons is on a witch hunt, and; Wallace wanted an audience for Wallace. These progressives talk so righteous in their rush to get rid of Trump, and; we only need to go back to fast and furious, Benghazi, plus much more to KNOW they do nothing righteous unless it benefits them. In fact, they are happy to aid and assist other Dem criminals cover their acts.
Wiretaps didn’t happen, but we got the transcripts
CAN’T MAKE THIS STUFF UP!
All-in-all, Nixon actually was a pretty damn good president -- especially when viewed alongside some of the more recent ones of Ford/Carter/Bush/Clinton/Bush/Obama. He had a lot pinned on him that he didn't deserve. If you listen to any lefty, the Vietnam war was his, like Kennedy and Johnson didn't exist. No mention that it was he that got us out of the damn thing.
Nixon was railroaded out on some pretty flimsy misdirection. Was he paranoid? Yes. Was he vindictive? Yes. That's not enough to get rid of a president, any more than it was to get rid of Obama.
