I know what you mean. There are many times as I'm typing a post I'm thinking to myself, "Please let me be the first one to say this. Please let me be the first one to say this."

I usually end up trying to type so fast I end up with all kinds of misspellings and grammatical errors and whatnot.

And then I end up with wite-out all over my computer screen.

I don’t think DT will like him leaking this.

If true, we should hope it's an extremely minor role.

Christie is ethically challenged (which those of us on his home turf have known for decades). He can't help President Trump -- is much more likely to hurt Trump, if he's given any real power.

How about an ambassadorship to Lichtenstein?

Governor Christie supported Trump way back when and he took a lot of heat for it from virtually all of New Jersey.

CC is tough as nails and has prevailed governing a state with arguably the most corrupt Democratic politicians in the country.

Why Rudy won’t come on board I can’t say. But whatever mission the President gives Christie, he’ll get the job done.

Months ago I would have hated this, but now it sounds like a step up from the buffoons and traitors that Trump has now. It also sounds as if Kushner’s powers are weakening, which can only be a good thing.

I agree with Romans Nine. Christy immediately endorsed Trump. Regardless, if Trumps chooses him, we need to give him a chance, Christy isn’t all bad.

He’s going to step down from being governor for an an extremely minor role. I don’t think so.

Like him or not, it's worth noting that Christie's no-holds-barred approach in his 2009 campaign against Jon Corzine in a deep "blue" state was a perfect model for Trump's 2016 presidential campaign.

In fact, when I see Donald Trump on a stage during a rally or a press conference, he has the exact same outspoken, often "politically incorrect" attitude with the press that Christie has had for years.

He would clear out in NJ long enough to allow the Lt. Gov to gain some traction as an incumbent.

“Christie is a gun-grabber from a gun-grabbing state.”

Well, Betsy DeVos (DOE)has had significant ties to Common Core advocates in one way or another for a long time. But she now says that she is not on board with Common Core any longer. Few questioned her change of heart, even though there is scant evidence of it (imo).

She gets the benefit of the doubt, so should Christie.

I hope they control his attacks on conservatives and stop his attacks like his attack on Tom Tancredo.

His 2009 campaign was great. To bad he governed like an absentee RINO. For all his reaching across the aisle he drew back a stump.

He's a very unpopular lame-duck governor in a completely dysfunctional state who is precluded from running again due to term limits -- and his term in office ends at the end of this year.

Even taking a position as a janitor in the White House would be a great career move for him.

In his defense, it is almost impossible for a Republican to govern a heavily Democratic state where both houses of the state legislature are controlled by Democrats.

The only reason the Republican Party has any presence in New Jersey at all is that it is a "home rule" state where a lot of power is vested in municipal governments. That's how you end up with some heavily Republican areas even in a state as "blue" as New Jersey.

DJT needs to tell him no mouthy pressers or photo ops. Just do whatever job I give you quietly until you run for Senate.

If channeled correctly, Christie could be a useful pitbull for Trump. (E.g., chewing a leg off Priebus might be a good place for him to start.)
