Like him or not, it's worth noting that Christie's no-holds-barred approach in his 2009 campaign against Jon Corzine in a deep "blue" state was a perfect model for Trump's 2016 presidential campaign.

In fact, when I see Donald Trump on a stage during a rally or a press conference, he has the exact same outspoken, often "politically incorrect" attitude with the press that Christie has had for years.

His 2009 campaign was great. To bad he governed like an absentee RINO. For all his reaching across the aisle he drew back a stump.

If channeled correctly, Christie could be a useful pitbull for Trump. (E.g., chewing a leg off Priebus might be a good place for him to start.)

I was put off by him cuddling Obummer, too. But he is a tough nut and I think he can get things done. I love Trump, and I think they are going to need that in this administration, especially dealing with the press.
