Swampgate: President Trump may have come to Washington to "drain the swamp," but now he's finding out that it's full of nasty swamp creatures. And, as he's also discovered, they bite.
The debacle over national security advisor Michael Flynn's sudden departure over his ill-advised contacts with Russian government officials shows that the Democrats in Congress and the bureaucrats that work with them mean to take as many scalps and do as much damage possible to Trump's barely 3-weeks-old presidency.
If they can fatally damage him early in his first term, all the better.
And they have help. The media have been slobbering at the chance to slip their chains and take a bite out of Trump, who has so far bested them in Twitter battles and, worse, made them irrelevant to a large segment of the population.
Meanwhile, federal bureaucrats, fearing Trump's vow to shrink big government and root out corruption, are digging in as if fighting for their very lives. That's why intelligence "sources," as the media call them, are willing to break the law to subvert Trump's administration. They have too much to lose if he wins.

WHY is Watergate considered the standard for all that’s horrible? Watergate is NOTHING compared to the hundreds of crimes committed by Clintons and Obama. I’m so tired of it.
It is a battle in a long war. Doespecially anyone expect easy victories nowadays? Seriously, the age of instant gratification has destroyed us.

The swamp is deep, and the critters wallowing in it, definitely don’t want it drained, not even an inch. I’ve worried all along that something might happen to Trump. I really believe that there are those within the swamp who will stop at absolutely nothing, and that means that not only is Trump in danger, we are all in danger.
The Democrat media is pushing the impeachment of Pres. Trump this morning. There is no evidence of his collision with Russia but they are sure that because they are fanning the fires, it must be true. This is the same tactic they’ve used against every Republican president. Pres. Trump’s people better fight back or he will be finished after one month in office! Don’t expect anything from the GOP’s mice in Congress. They’d rather have the comfortable, non-controversial VP Pence in the Oval Office anyway, because he would not “drain the swamp” where they are comfortable.

Did anyone watch the last fifteen minutes of Special Report/Brett Baier last night? He did a segment with the infamous photo of Richard Nixon, double peace sign boarding Marine One for the last time, after his resignation. Then photos of the interior of the helicopter. THEN, “when we return we will take you to blah, blah where President Nixon is buried along with his wife Pat.”
I asked my husband to check the internet and see if it is Nixons birthday......nope. Then I said well check to see if this is the anniversary of his resignation......nope.
Liberals, other globalists and the Big-Gov crowd have labored for 50 years or more to screw the country and the government up this bad.
It will take Trump more than 3 weeks to clean it up.

The swamp is deep indeed. But the two that ultimately rule everything else is the military industrial complex and the banking complex.
