Why would South Africa remain progressive and prosperous in a sea of corruption across Africa? Time for the white people to get their assets out. Oil could not save Venezuela, gold won’t save SA.
To who and being life long citizens of SA, where do they go and what will they do if they ever get there?
The locals will destroy the country and then outsiders will move in and take over.I’m thinking the Chinese would like a chunk of southern Africa.
Anyone that supports the DA ought to flee to the Western Cape and declare independence from South Zimbabwe.

South Africa is no Zimbabwe. A couple years ago I was discussing with a (white) South African friend the status of the country and if they weren't concerned the black majority would try to pull what was done in Zimbabwe. He shrugged and said, "No not particularly." He explained that the vast majority of the military and law enforcement is still white and whites have pretty much all moved into very heavily armed enclaves with their own private armies for security, he stated that these white enclaves essentially are countries onto themselves and simply ignore any laws from the majority black government that they don't like or consider discriminatory. He said that the black majority understands all this as well, which is why they HAVEN'T tried to seize white lands or property, they realize they are only in power because the white minority allows it, and if they tried to use force they would quite quickly and embarrassingly get their butts kicked.
The best things whites could do is try and break the country in two. Give the Xhosa and Zulu back the East and keep the original near black free west.
Why would I invest a dime in SA equities or bonds? Why would I entrust any capital to an investment firm that allocates capital there?
I’m in touch with a lot of South Africans - the brutality inflicted upon white farmers - horrific atrocities on the par with ISIS - are not being reported in the western press.
The good thing is they will be eating each other by the years end
I went to church with a couple from South Africa several years ago. They were both going to the UNM Medical School and returned to South Africa after graduation. I often wonder how they are doing and even if they are still alive.
