The 30-second clip opens with a collection of Caucasian stereotypes and the show's African American protagonist, Samantha, hectoring students at the fictional Winchester University.
'Dear white people,' she says. 'Heres a list of acceptable Halloween costumes: pirate, slutty nurse, any of our first 43 presidents. Top of the list of unacceptable costumes: me.'
It then shows a number of college students sporting so-called 'black face' and the violent responses that follow.
The preview comes ahead of the series premiere on April 24.

Dear Colored People.
Caucasian is colored, peach is not white. There are no white people.
I buy socks for #2 Son at Target; Walmart doesn’t have any that are large enough.
Gay males have a higher degree of corporate success due to dual full time incomes. However they tend to doom their shareholders eventually as they push their lifestyle and learn others often find their lifestyle revolting.
To the producers of this hate film, FU.
Well great if you want copyright and performance owners to get stiffed...
Cancelled yesterday-
I've been a heavy Netflix user for years and never seen this title or had it suggested to me by Netflix's recommendation engine. There are lots of program offering in the catalog that I ignore, and lots of others that I enjoy. But taking offense because a title exists is exactly the sort of thing that one expects from the left, who will not suffer the existence of other viewpoints.
If few bother with it, it won't stay in the catalog for long, as Netflix very well knows which titles are and are not popular. This is just another example of the sort of faux-outrage we've come to expect in the culture wars.
Amazon is promoting illegals a crowing about it!
Seems someone could come up with a a new service with a conservative take.
There is certainly an opening here when you consider the number of recent Christian movies that made money and even fare like Mel Gibson’s Hacksaw Ridge.
If it 8s not legit, take your post down

Not interest in buying a bunch of DVDs (even as an Amazon Prime customer). I prefer the Netflix rental approach.
I suspect Netflix will be forced to drop this like a hot potato, or show it only on the "Afro-American" cable channels. Netflix has already had one customer revolt over contract changes and had to backtrack.
Very true. Thanks.
Netflix recently produced an adorable series called “Puffin Rock,” aimed at children 3 to 6 years old.
Don’t troll me, you narrow-minded fartblossom.
It is a Netflix show, it will not leave their catalog. The subscription fee directly supports the creation of this show.

Many feel as do you but I am one of those guys who can watch movies again and again. When you get old you forget...
Wish I could cancel but I did that late last summer - after several years had watched all I wanted from Netflix.
Was planning on going back this month as I know they get new offerings all the time ... but changed my mind when I heard about this nonsense.
Netflix don’t care if you like or dislike; just as long as
you watch their stuff & subscribe to their service.
