Like any business, Netflix is working with the general public and tastes vary widely. If you don't like a particular title the answer is simple: don't watch it. Nobody is forcing you to watch it. I don't burn my library card because there are a few books in the card catalog that I don't like. I just choose to ignore them.

I've been a heavy Netflix user for years and never seen this title or had it suggested to me by Netflix's recommendation engine. There are lots of program offering in the catalog that I ignore, and lots of others that I enjoy. But taking offense because a title exists is exactly the sort of thing that one expects from the left, who will not suffer the existence of other viewpoints.

If few bother with it, it won't stay in the catalog for long, as Netflix very well knows which titles are and are not popular. This is just another example of the sort of faux-outrage we've come to expect in the culture wars.

Netflix recently produced an adorable series called “Puffin Rock,” aimed at children 3 to 6 years old.

It is a Netflix show, it will not leave their catalog. The subscription fee directly supports the creation of this show.
