Are you sure your optimism is warranted? Maybe I don’t understand the differences between Congressional hearings and Congressional investigations. When Hillary was in that 11 hour hearing, was that an investigation? Some interesting things came out, but mostly it was Kabuki theater, with the Democrats using all of their questioning time to rehabilitate her. It didn’t seem very effective.

I am not saying he won’t, but the evidence will need to be completely airtight and far more than minor indiscretions for this one to come back into the public view. It may, but my guess is, if it does it will be a good while yet.

The Clintons exiling themselves would be essentially an admission of guilt, and would eliminate the necessity of what would inevitably become a show trial and a huge distraction from the real work of getting the economy started again.
So, I think the Clintons bolting the country might be the most reasonable outcome here.

in fact, imo, that's exactly why trump made the facetious remark about getting the hildabeast "emails from the russians" in the first place.
