Fear and rage on US-Mexico border

San Ysidro (United States) (AFP) - At the busy San Ysidro border crossing between the United States and Mexico, it's hard to find anyone with positive words about President Donald Trump's vow to build a wall between the two countries.

Holding true to his campaign promise, the Republican billionaire ordered US officials this week to begin constructing a barrier along the 2,000-mile (3,200-kilometer) US-Mexico border to keep out illegal immigrants.

He also announced other plans he said would strengthen security, including deporting criminal undocumented migrants.

Here at the border crossing that connects the US city of San Ysidro with the Mexican city of Tijuana -- the world's busiest border crossing -- an imposing physical barrier already stands tall.

The authorities raised two giant parallel fences topped by razor wire between the late 1990s and early 2000s.

"I think this wall thing is foolish because if they already have all this, why do they want more?" asked Esperanza Preciado, 19.

Ya just might want to look a little further to the EAST OF San Ysidro.....

Community organizer was the only background Obama had on his resume. He was selected and groomed by his puppeteers led by Soros.

I’m hoping alien tech will provide us with a near invisible force field. Zero point energy field.

If we build a wall why not put solar panels on it?

I’ll bet the guys building the wall are pretty happy with Trump! The Texas farmers and ranchers that had their land littered, were terrorized, injured, murdered by drug cartels are probably pleased as well.

We need a physical barrier because foreigners do not respect our laws. Not surprising considering that we have not had a President who would enforce them in at least 30 years.
Of the Presidents since the last amnesty, Bill Clinton was the best at enforcement. Sad but true.

We should not be satisfied with only deporting those illegal aliens who have been caught and convicted of crimes here.

ALL illegal aliens MUST commit multiple crimes DAILY to continue their illegal presence here.
Document fraud and illegal employment are the tip of the iceberg.

We should not give them the opportunity to harm or kill Americans before being deported.

All talk of “high-tech fence” is BS.

The Berlin Wall worked.

A Southern Border Wall will work.

All else is BS.

And by the way, the Berlin Wall was a prison wall keeping people locked inside, denying them freedom.

A Southern Border Wall will be an anti-invasion barrier similar to the Great Wall of China, protecting a people from invasion.

(The problem with the Great Wall of China was that it wasn’t good enough to overcome the technological superiority of the invaders of the day.)

"I think this wall thing is foolish because if they already have all this, why do they want more?" asked Esperanza Preciado, 19.

Or turn it around and ask, if they already have the world's busiest border crossing...

" Here at the border crossing that connects the US city of San Ysidro with the Mexican city of Tijuana -- the world's busiest border crossing...

why do they need more holes in the border?

“I think this wall thing is foolish because if they already have all this, why do they want more?” asked Esperanza Preciado, 19.”

Because “all this” doesn’t stop illegal crossing. Long ago, and I was surprised they did it, ABC news did a report on illegal immigration, and they used a night vision camera to show illegals coming across the border through a state park. It was like an invading army, and I am not exaggerating. They reported it happened every night.

Agree. Deport criminal aliens first while enforcing hiring restrictions and talking away ALL social benefits. Then round up every man, woman, and child here illegally and deport them to their home country. If their home country refuses to take them, halt issuing VISAs for any citizen of the offending country - part of existing immigration law.

This could be done in less than two years.

Exactly right. He’s not some random Republican billionaire anymore. He’s the President. And it still kills them to admit it.

A few years ago, 30+ Mexican army guys drove across the international bridge at Donna, TX. As if they didn’t recognize the river and couldn’t read the big signs with a US flag.

A wall is nice, but we can’t afford nice at this point.

A “no man’s land” anti personnel denial of entry barrier manned by the BP and military is required in this situation, similar to the NK/SK border.

Oh, and absolutely no foot traffic at border crossings, along with an overall reduction of crossing points.

And require an actual verifiable passport to cross over either way with stirct requirements to gain entry.

Mexico should be considered a hostile nation to the interests of the US, and our border enforcement should reflect that.

People a thousand South of the border know what’s going on. Their government helps them get here. Trump should point that out. I’d also wager government officials on both sides get paid. I
