I am overjoyed that he has turned out to be a strong conservative. This is much better than I hoped for.
This is a great writeup. I often stated that we would never see the likes of another Reagan in our lifetimes. I was wrong, and Trump is ten times better.
Ironic, I was zotted on Thanksgiving day a few years back fueled by a cabal of Photoshopping ibullies and it turns out that I am/was arguably one of the first Trump supporters on Free Republic.
To you Jim, thanks for letting me back in. Still one my heroes.
Plus the reaction to Trump’s action (the continued unhinging of the Left, the entire State Dept senior management team resignation, the resignation of the Border Patrol chief, the ......), the added benefits keep adding up.
However, as I discussed elsewhere, the biggest concern is that Trump is just a one-man show. Already we heard the blueprint of libs (Trump impeachment, whispered by Hugh Hewitt, too), Mike Pence seems all kinds of a nice guy, but he’s not DJT.
Therefore, Mike Pence needs to enforce his conservative cred (speaking at the pro-life event is a good start), and to reassure the conservative base that he possesses a steel spine.
Just in case of the unthinkable event happening (I wouldn’t put it past any liberal at this point), that Libs decide they would rather DO Business with Speaker Ryan. We the people should demand Ryan be no more than a temporary place holder (that he makes no major policy changes, etc.) until a special election can be held and a true elected leader takes the reign. I don’t trust Ryan one bit.
Today I was wondering who will Trump catch up with first, Washington or Lincoln?
Now let’s start making America totally energy independent!! We need to thaw the present hiring freeze in the energy sector.
Historic post, bump!
And lets not forget..a stalking horse for Hillary. Ya know. Cause he’s a Democrat.
It is clear the DACA promise will not be kept.
Though Trump is doing an excellent job, just days in.
Reagan performed over 8 years.
I’m giddy as a school girl right now with Trump, but lets see how everything pans out over time.
Getting cabinet in place is one thing, let’s see policy made law.
Let’s see what happens with the Supreme Court.
I loved Reagan because he was always congenial.
I want Trump to do some b*tch slapping and ball kicking.
(and when I say ball kicking, I mean clear into their throats.)
We’ve been taking in the shorts for too long. And the Rinos were complicit.
Thanks for sharing, JimRob. It has been an amazing week!!
Oh yeah that’s right. That didn’t work out too well for Hillary.
This is what it looks like when a leader leads.
And it is astounding!
Let no more of these useless, talentless, thoughtless, meek, worthless, pencil pushing, stupid little graph displaying, “Better Way” having, mealy mouthed, mushed mouth, stuttering, stumbling, floundering, please clap, no leadershipskill havin’ ass m***** f***in’ moron politicians ever run for or be president again!
No one, NO ONE, in elected office is anywhere even close to the leadership ability of Trump.
What a staggering, startling, stark, infinite gap there is between him and all the rest.
Wow!
I apologize for my language, my mind is blown, fuses need replacing, I cannot help myself.
WOW!
I was also going to be happy if Trump just got a few of his big items done. I figured like all politicians he was lying at least half the time. I no longer thing so.
