PINE HILLS, Fla. - According to a witness at the scene, a female Orlando police officer was shot numerous times by a man wearing a security uniform.
Dozens of police vehicles descended on the area around the intersection of Pine Hills Road and North Lane, just south of Royal Oaks and Pineview apartments on a report of an officer-involved shooting Monday.
The shooting reportedly happened at a nearby Walmart.

"(The shooter) was an average looking dude, he walked by me, had a security vest and everything," witness James Herman told Channel 9. "I was walking down the sidewalk, right past the officer, and I heard her tell him to stop, or whatever, and he shot her. He shot her down.
"He took off running. It's unreal."
He said the man continued to shoot behind him as he was running from the scene.

My personal belief is that the fruits of Obama’s efforts in destroying this country by hamstringing our security, our DHS, TSA, FBI, CIA, NSA and every other executive agency has led to this pre-positioned situation of Islamic Jihadists in our midst - and they have finally come on the ideal terror scenario. Your shopping and daily doings.
Obama didn’t need to sabotage the State Department because it is a liberal elitist snob organization that has mired our policy in duplicity and ulterior motives. They are all Allah’s warriors, IMO.
The officer had been shopping in the store and was putting bags into the trunk of her vehicle when she was approached by another shopper, Herman said.
“The customer walked up to her and said that someone they were looking for, wanted, was in the store in the line to check out,” he said. “She went in there, I guess, to confront him. As she was going back to Walmart, he was coming out, and he shot her.”
Wow, premeditated to the MAX.
“According to the Orlando Fire Dept. that officer was shot 9 times.”
Praying for this brave officer and her family.
Crime Hills is awful.
Think it’s personal? Report says gunman asked for her?
Sounds like jilted boyfriend or stalker to me.
I sure hope she was wearing a bullet proof vest to help lessen the severity of her obvious injuries. Poor lady :(
Also read her heart stopped on way to hospital, but medics were able to revive her. What’s this world come to?
NO, it said a customer came out and said someone “they” (assuming they meant police in general) were looking for was inside in line. She went back towards the store to confront this person and he started shooting.
I have to wonder if the customer who came out to tell the officer was part of a plan to shoot her in the first place or not? You know, let’s kill a cop today kind of thing? I sure hope not.
Perp was wanted for murder. They have his mug shot up now on the stream.
Was she off-duty? Did the shooter target her? Did he know she was a cop? How did he get away?
Yep. He was wanted for shooting his pregnant girlfriend and firing on her brother.
Report Markeith Loyd fired on and missed pursuing deputy, but hit patrol car twice. Then carkjacked civilian’s car and escaped.

I know someone who is attempting to get to Florida hospital this morning due to their relative having surgery and they just called me. THERE IS HELICOPTER ACTIVITY AND A PICKUP TRUCK WITH YELLOW TAPE AROUND IT IN LOCKHART NEAR THE 429/ORANGE BLOSSOM TRAIL EXCHANGE IN APOPKA. EDGEWATER IS THE ALTERNATE ROUTE BUT THAT WILL BE VERY BUSY.
Per WFTV police are centering their search at Cinderlane and Rosemont in Lockhart.
