As for the lady officer, she did pass away and now a motorcycle officer has been critically injured. IF they capture this felon alive, he needs to be changed to 2 counts of murder because the officer hit by the car was involved in the search.

Per local TV, the perp had been on the run for a month after shooting and killing his pregnant girlfriend. And the perp felt comfortable enough to patronize a Wally while armed. Jeez. Any info in whether the officer was on duty? If she was wearing a vest? Maybe vests should be worn even by off duty LEOS now when in public...
