This is the Associated Press’s innocuous report on a crime that occurred in Chicago on Tuesday, in its entirety:
Chicago police say they are investigating a video circulating on social media that shows several people beating a man at a residence.
Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson said at a news conference Wednesday that four suspects are in custody. Formal charges have not been filed.

It’s on every half hour or so on Fox. For those here who condemn Fox...they’re a hell of a lot better than MSNBC, abc, cbs, and the liberal press.
Ps. I think FNC is ok. Could be a hell of a lot better. But so much better than the MSM (which I don’t lump Fox in with. )

You can bet that if the races were reversed, there would have been formal “hate crime” charges filed instantly, and this story would be headlined in every single newspaper in the country, and broadcast endlessly on TV and radio.
My bet is that the perps will be allowed to plead to a reduced charge of assault, and they’ll back out on the street shortly.
The cops themselves have said it was poor decision making on the part of the children.

Some liberal twit is saying that conservatives are all KKK on a local news site. So, I asked him to explain this real hate crime. I wanted to post the story but not from FOX to prevent him from going on a FOX rant.
MSNBC doesn’t even mention it. Chicago Tribune does so that’s what I went with.

This morning on my commute the talk radio news gal said “authorities are wanting to know if this could have been racially motivated”.
That means that the “authorities” would need a black dude to stand up in court and declare that he hates all white people and it was his sole motivation for his crime, before they would be able to “determine” if it might have been a naughty crime.
I’m sick of all the coddling of these criminal types. Let’s reverse the races and recreate the scene and see if it’s treated as poor decision making.
I’m not a lawyer, but it seems that kidnapping would be first on the list. (federal crime?) False imprisonment, assault and battery, assault with a deadly weapon, (multiple charges of both) I’m sure there are special penalties for doing these things to a mentally disabled person. And I’m also sure a good prosecutor can add another couple dozen charges. Illegal wiretapping maybe for broadcasting this against the victims will.
I don’t believe in the term hate crime. There’s enough real crimes to put these vermin away for a long time to reflct on their poor decision making skills.

To me, this is perhaps a greater crime than the crime itself. The head of the Cook County police actually said something to the effect these were ignorant perpetrators who made bad choices.
If I were in charge, he’d be brought up on charges for obstructing justice in not charging them and urging adjudication authorities to prosecute for hate crimes under the full extent of the law.
It is reprehensible. Are they willing to wait until when the same thing starts happening again, in reverse. Perhaps then they will take the one sided bias of their “hate crime” laws seriously and do something about it.
They have been reporting it on local Chicago news, including that the perps were shouting anti Trump comments while they beat the guy.
Can't wait until we have a JUSTICE department.

Not to Hi-jack this thread concerning this despicable crime by “Holder’s People” or Obama’s “If I had a son...”, but Fox is improving as Tucker Carlson now as the 7 PM slot and Me-Again Kelly has been allowed to leave.
The left has even pushed O’Bloviator to the right.
