Did you bother to read my reply to 5th MEB?

Yes, I did, and you dodged just like I thought you would.

Go back and read your original post. You didn't single out LIBERAL Californians. You painted us all with a broad brush with your words, which is precisely what compelled him to unleash on you in the first place.

We conservative Californians have been on the receiving end of screeds like yours for a very long time. It gets under your skin after a while. I don't blame 5th MEB one little bit for responding to you the way he did. He's responding to the thousands of hateful things that have been slung at us over the years.

I read about a recent survey which asked the question, which state hates their senators the most. Arizona won. Both McLame and Flake are widely despised. The only reason they keep getting re-elected is because of the low information retiree and Mormon vote.

I am tired of a lot of you folks out there painting all Californians with that same LIBERAL BRUSH.
Most, probably all native Californians who have had family here for a 100 years or more are VERY CONSERVATIVE farmers and ranchers.
By “your” I mean your fellow statesmen and women, and relatives you might not even know. You just admitted that you moved from NYC to Florida, you said you are a Republican, well that’s just fine, but most eastern Republicans I have met or known are what I would have called a Democrat 20 or 30 years ago.
Some of you folks want to build a wall around us; OK, I can go with that, just make sure the wall starts at the north Sonoma County line straight east to Tahoe, from the Pacific to the Nevada line.
And now you complaining that those same Northeasterners are starting to move into Florida and f#cking up your state (and your not even a Florida native)?
BETTER START BUILDING YOUR WALL NOW, it might be too late for California.
Say hello to the GREAT STATE OF JEFFERSON.

I’m 67 years old, most of the Native Californios I grew up with spoke better english than somebody from Wisconsin or Boston.
Their parents spoke english as their primary language, with some spanish in the home.
Their Grandparents spoke primarily spanish in the home but were conversant in english for business purposes.
You would probably have to go back at least 5 generations to find a Native Californio family that spoke only spanish.
So; Si, se bueno me amigo.
Most Native Californios can’t even understand the assholes from mexico or points south.

My family has been here for a 120 years, started as farmers and ranchers (fleecing the gold miners, heh, heh).
I just get tired of these johnny come latelys telling us how screwed up we are, they brought the PLAGUE and now they want to blame us for it.
If we could get rid of every transplant from 1945 on, we would still be a Conservative bastion.
(perhaps not all, some of them were pretty good people, the Okies (the real Oklahomans) in particular).

My grandfathers both moved their families from the deep south to California during WWII. There's a huge clan of their descendants there, now, four generations deep.

All four of my grandparents and two great-grandparents, are all buried in L.A. County.

You didn't single out LIBERAL Californians.

So, I needed to be very specific about "only LIBERALS"?

When liberals overwhelm the republican voters in a state, then that state will be a liberal hellhole, and republicans can try, but, they will still be subjected to the same liberal policies as the rest of the state's population. I know that as a former NYC resident, that my votes didn't count for much, and I didn't want to live under the same conditions and policies dictated by ideologies which didn't jive with my beliefs and preferences. I chose to move out, because, there was no way that republicans could overcome the huge liberal majorities and those majorities were won via big government, and big government programs. I can't see where California can ever turn around, so, why not leave while the leaving is good. There are many alternatives other than staying.

As we all know, and you can usually assume this to be true, no state is composed of all "liberals" or all "republicans". I thought all of us here knew what is meant by liberalism destroying California. That doesn't mean that Californians are all liberals. Let's try to get smarter, won't you?

You really ought to stop doubling down on your blatant error.

You painted every Californian with the same broad brush and 5th MEB correctly called you on it.

If you’re going to attack a specific group of people, it’s a good idea to be specific while doing so, lest you spray everyone in their direction with the same spew.

The better part of valor compels you to simply acknowledge it and move on.

I'm going to "triple-down" on you.

My first post in this thread had this:

Please, Californians, don’t move out of state. You are where you belong. You destroyed your state, and we in the red states don’t want you moving to any of our states, where you would destroy them too with your liberal positions and voting.

Like I stated in that post, California has 38 million people (I think it's 39 million now). "MOST" of the votes in that state go for democrats. Liberals/democrats are the majority there, overall. If half of the state moved out, that would turn a bunch of the states they moved to, into liberal hellholes too.

If you didn't identify with my "liberal" labeling, then, you should not have been offended by my comments. Like I said to 5th MB, I hope I didn't have to be so specific to the point where I'd have to include a not that said, "except for republicans/conservatives".

Geez! Give me a break, dude!

The statement you made that slandered ALL Californians, and started this argument:

Please, Californians, don’t move out of state. You are where you belong. You destroyed your state, and we in the red states don’t want you moving to any of our states, where you would destroy them too with your liberal positions and voting.

Note that you addressed Californians, not Liberal Californians.

Instead of correctly targeting those who are responsible for destroying California and many other American states, you (intentionally or otherwise) slandered millions of decent, patriotic Californians with your screed.

Any straight shooter would have acknowledged that error the first time it was pointed out, and would have amended their statement to be more specific. Instead, you're still sitting here denying the obvious, and doubling down on your faux pas.

Not sure what that makes you, but I don't care. I gave you three chances to own up to your mistake, and three times you've refused.

Try to get a bit smarter.

By "Californians", I didn't mean all Californians. Nobody can put all Californians into the same box. But, it was Californians that turned that state into a hellhole, because, the majority of them did it. Even if the republicans didn't help along the way to ruins, it remains a fact that, Californians (and not New Yorkers, or Illannoyances or Michiganders, or Floridians, etc) did the damages. Fact remains that, republicans in California are irrelevant when it comes to state politics and state governance. So, as a whole, it was "Californians" that have that state in dire straits.

I'm not accusing republicans or you of creating the mess, just "Californians as a whole", because, like I said, republicans are of little or no consequence in that state.

Republicans like Jim Robinson? You do know he lives there, right? I'm sure he'll be happy to hear that he and millions of conservatives in California, are of little consequence.

Quit being a dope. You insulted millions of fellow conservatives without due cause, and refuse to admit it. Get out of here.

You still refuse to accept the fact of what I'm speaking about.

Sure, there may be individuals or even pockets of republicans who are active and can make a difference. But, what I'm talking about, is the actual VOTING relevancy of republicans in that state. Get it????????????????

And, I'm not getting out, unless I'm tossed out. So, is being disagreeable on an issue or two the cause for banning any republican? You sound like the liberals who can't stand any disagreement within their ranks, and would ban them or call them deniers. Perhaps it's you that has learned the liberal lessons from your fellow liberal Californians.

“You still refuse to accept the fact of what I’m speaking about.”

Quit being a weasel about this. You insulted every Californian by telling ALL of them (including decent conservatives) to stay put in their state, and not contaminate the red states with their liberal politics.

It’s called using a generality. A broad brush. It’s no different than BLM claiming that white people are fundamentally racist. Such generalizations slander entire classes of people, and are just plain evil.

But you don’t give a damn about that. All that matters is making yourself right.

Piss off.

When I'm right, I'll stand up and let you know about it.

The fact is that, it's California that is the most liberal state in the union. Therefore, it's got the biggest number of liberals in the country. That you are a Californian is besides the point. The point is still that, California as a whole has devastated its economics and politics. Now, you don't have to include yourself in that, and I'm not including you in that box either, but, it's still a fact that Californians who destroyed that state should stay put. You can leave now. And don't look back. But, stop lumping yourself into that population which destroyed the state. It's you that's taking offense about generalities when it comes to Californians. If the shoe doesn't fit, don't wear it.
