Russia Hacked Republican Committee but Kept Data, U.S. Concludes

DAVID E. SANGER and SCOTT SHANE DEC. 9, 2016

WASHINGTON — American intelligence agencies have concluded with “high confidence” that Russia acted covertly in the latter stages of the presidential campaign to harm Hillary Clinton’s chances and promote Donald J. Trump, according to senior administration officials.

They based that conclusion, in part, on another finding — which they say was also reached with high confidence — that the Russians hacked the Republican National Committee’s computer systems in addition to their attacks on Democratic organizations, but did not release whatever information they gleaned from the Republican networks.

In the months before the election, it was largely documents from Democratic Party systems that were leaked to the public. Intelligence agencies have concluded that the Russians gave the Democrats’ documents to WikiLeaks.

Maybe it was because:

1. The RNC had no clue what Trump was doing either and
2. The deepest scandal they found was that Preibus likes to count cards at bridge.

And the “high confidence” that North Korea would never have nuclear bombs. But the CIA did a great job of preventing the 9/11 attacks......oh, wait.

What is serious about this charge is its Obama’s fault. The administration failed in cyber security. They let Clinton have an unsourced server in her home. The day that server went in, NSA should have told Clinton to shut it down.

The Russians hacked it? Big whoop. That’s their job. Same as it is our job to hack foreign systems for Intel. As for manipulating an election, the MSM supported it as long as it was for Hillary. More Hillary supporters support Russia than do Trump supporters. Plus, Obama tried to manipulate the Israeli election and the media stayed quiet.

January 21, 2017 is going to be a great day.

——The CIA is carrying water for the Democrats——

See, therein is the problem.

One individual in the agency leaked some disinformation. The political ax grinding does not represent reality but is good enough to report since the source is well vetted for misinformation before. Based on the word of Hillary Clinton, we can state with certainty that there are at least 16 other such sources scattered throughout other intel agencies.

New York......

The guests in Plaza Hotel room 4012 were awakened by loud beating on their door. On answering the door, they discovered an irate Hillary Clinton demanding to be let in. She was extremely angry in her obscsne insistance that they leave her suite immediately.

The door was closed and security notified. The security team calmed Mrs Clinton the recent unsuccessful candidate for President and directed her to her actual suite 4212 two floors above. Mrs Clinton apparently got off the elevator on the wrong floor.

Alcohol was said th be involved in the incident

I thought Assange said the Russians were not the source. He hinted very strongly that it was the guy who turned up murdered. Seth Rich. But who’s seen Assange lately?

NYT and WaPo haven’t been trustworthy sources for a long time, especially about politics, and every story has a spin. This election, it has devolved to out right lies. Very skeptical of this report. The nuts on the left will go crazier, however. Agitprop.

NYT claims that... and the agencies, as per policy and necessity, remain silent so there is not proof or disproof.

Seventeen security agencies got together and agreed that the Russians did it? If we really do have seventeen security agencies spying to that level we have a really big problem. Trump - cut it to one or two and you will save a lot of money.

Let us be clear about what is happening.

The political leadership of the Intelligence Community is treating the American public like the public of a third world banana republic—using the New York Times, Washington Post and other MSM sources as their propaganda arm.

Their message is total garbage.

Trump needs to end this ASAP after inauguration.

Wish list—throw a few of these intelligence community domestic disinformation experts in jail as traitors—as a lesson to others who might try this stuff another day.

I suppose there is always the possibility that the Republicans didn't have any dirt to release.

After all, if all the journalists were colluding with the DNC, then who was left for the RNC to collude with? Who was there in the MSM to give Republican candidates the debate questions in advance? If Trump's rallies were so large, who needed to organize fake TV shows and news stories to rally the base?

If they hacked DNC E-Mails, all they would have found was plotting against Trump. Likewise, if they hacked RNC E-Mails all they would have found was plotting against Trump.

I doubt the Russians could have even distinguished between the two sets of E-Mails.

senior administration officials.

Fake news. No on the record sources. Based on what we learned in the WikiLeaks, for all we know their "source" is the DNC.

And, since the RNC did nothing to help Trump, who cares if the RNC got hacked.
