Your theory makes sense. People donating towards the cause do not know US election law, in that the way Stein is doing this, will never change the results. Nonetheless, those donating persons fall into the category of disappointed Hitlery supporters.
And those that gave her generous gifts when SOS would certainly fall into that category. The only way they will get anything for their Pay-To-Play money is to see Hitlery in office. This could spell her doom much sooner than Parkinsons.
There is just no downside to this recount, it has the potential to mean doom for the whole DNC, obama’s legacy, finishing the Clintons for good and fixing it so the Green party will never see another election ballot.
Statistical analysis of the website where the money was collected shows a very systematic accumulation of money over a 36 hour period of time. it’s like somebody said “We need 5 million dollars over the next 36 hours, space it out evenly so you don’t attract attention.” And in it came, regular as clockwork, attracting attention. Just as much came in between 3 and 4 A.M as came in between 3 and 4 P.M.
So, it was not a grass roots contribution, not by a long shot.

The other story I heard is that the Dem Party senses it is hemorrhaging its left wing to the Greens who are catering to the leftwing stolen-election nutjobs. Even with no chance of victory, the DNC wants to nip the defections in the bud, and so are likewise catering to the nutjobs.
While such a scenario is comforting, in that it discounts the notion that Hillary is still in it to win, I don’t think one should ever count out the shenanigans of the Clinton machine.

I just watched Dr Stein on the Kennedy show on Fox Business. The woman is seriously unhinged!!! It was scary stuff. She’s nuts. Honest to god crazy. The hosts commenting after she was on seemed stunned by her incoherent crazy conspiracy theories. She certifiable nuts!!
If there is massive democrat fraud, perhaps Trump or Adleman or the Koch brothers are the funders

True, an anonymous inside source must be taken with a grain of salt.
But regardless of who said it, anyone with common sense knows that any fraud or voting improprieties are likely to have favored the democrats - and exposing them will only help the republicans.
This has to be something the democrats would be concerned about - so I suspect these recount “efforts” are for show and will soon be abandoned.
No, the purpose of all these recount “efforts” is to support a narrative that the election was very close, “Clinton won the popular vote!” “The electoral college system is antiquated and racist”. “Only a few swing states allowed Trump to win!” “Look how close they were!” “Within the margin of error!” “Recount!”
They don’t actually want a recount, they just want to keep talking about how close it was, how dumb the electoral college is, so they can deprive Trump if any landslide effect, or mandate.
