Protesting during school hours- pull the Federal funding for that day- couple thousand students protesting could impact budget substantially.

Students belong in class studying not on street protesting

>>I agree, mostly to counteract the brainwashing in the public education system

Government is not the solution to the problem, it IS the problem. Why not simply eliminate political indoctrination in schools? Then you wouldn’t need to counteract them.

Students in Maryland were let out of school to protest. They beat up a Trump supporter and two of them are facing charges.

I have been a proponent of mandatory national service for a long time.

Involuntary servitude, eh?

I thought folks here at FR were against that sorta thing. No?

Put the little turds on the defensive, and refuse to take it any more.

It isn’t the middle class that is the problem, it is the education system, the old media, and homowood, all of which teach these brats to hate their parents and their traditions of decency and civilized behavior.

Of course; just tired of how people bash people outside the mainstream, in the fringes of society, who can’t answer back so easily. I’m frustrated that these kids were taught that life is supposed to just work out for them all the time and that it is the job of everyone around them to make sure that their dreams come true, even if it ends up meaning that others have to put their dreams and lives on hold.

These students are upset that their expectations (that Hillary would be elected) have been thwarted and they apparently cannot cope with the reality that life isn’t being what they expected it to be. It’s not just a sense of expectation, but a sense of entitlement. They are lashing out because they are living a point in life where life isn’t going the way they believe it should.

I happens to all of us, but frankly I believe that this is their first experience with this kind of thing.

That was a response to a particular situation, and I don’t think it would really work today. It was a very expensive way to get some park lodges and bridges built and historical monuments restored.

Young people today have many more options than the equivalent population in the 1930s: they can attend Community College and learn one of a hundred marketable skills at a very modest cost; they can join the military; they can get a retail job, be patient, and move up; and more.

Agreed. The military has become more about politics and queers than warriors. And, we are not at war yet? We can’t force people to become pawns for the politicians and muslim pigs like Obama.
