108,600 Votes Swing 46 Electoral College Votes to Donald Trump
Breitbart ^ | 11 Nov 2016 | Michael Patrick Leahy

Posted on 11/12/2016 5:23:41 AM PST by cpforlife.org

Forty-six of the electoral college votes President-elect Donald Trump won on his way to a resounding 306 to 232 electoral college victory over Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton came from three states where his combined margin of victory was only 108,600 votes.

No major media outlet has yet called Michigan for Trump, but a spokesperson for the Michigan Secretary of State’s office told Breitbart News on Thursday “there’s no reason to believe there will be large numbers of votes that will be found subsequent to the current reporting.”

Clinton’s inattention on the campaign trail to these three “Rust Belt” states cost her dearly.

As The Week, points out, Hillary Clinton failed to visit Wisconsin, even once, after April.

It could have been even worse for the Clinton campaign. Trump, who only visited Minnesota once during the last month of the campaign (an overflow rally held Sunday at the Minneapolis airport), almost won that traditionally liberal state’s 10 electoral college votes as well.

Trump won Pennsylvania, with its 20 electoral college votes, by 68,236 votes, Wisconsin, with its 10 electoral college votes, by 27,257 votes, and Michigan, with its 16 electoral college votes, by 13,107 votes.

Had those 108,600 votes gone to Hillary Clinton, she would have won the presidency with a a 278 to 260 electoral college victory over Trump. (Though New Hampshire, with its 4 electoral college votes has not yet been called, Clinton holds a 1,614 vote margin there–0.2 percent of votes cast in the state– with 100 percent of precincts reporting.)

Clinton won the popular vote by 0.2 percent, or about 200,000 votes out of a total of 120 million total votes cast.

A key shift of less than 0.1 percent of those votes–108,600–would have given us President-elect Clinton instead of President-elect Trump.

You, I guess, didn’t see that a bunch of whiners have a petition going to “force” the electoral college to change their votes and usher clintoon in to the office. LOL! Yeah, you think there’s trouble in the streets now.......

Trump spent $4 per vote he won, Clinton spent $8.

I'm sure he could have run up the scoreboard if he had doubled his spending (which he could have). But it was his own money. Would you spend any more of your own money to get a job than you needed to?

If he runs the US gov't 1/10 as efficiently as he ran his campaign, he'll be one of the all-time great presidents.

So much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving! Thank you LORD Jesus!

Our beloved Republic has been spared from The Dreaded hildaBEAST. So many stories are coming out about the election that are truly inspiring, and also scary as well.

Also I would like to see how many Illegals voted which is a good possiblity they there are law like the Motor Voter Act of 1993 that registers people to vote without checking citizenship and couple with the fact that DMV gives ID to Illegals, the popular vote is worthless.

That’s what I keep saying. If there was some way to remove all of the votes from illegals, Clinton would not be winning the popular vote.

Saw that map yesterday. Scary as hell.

Our beloved Founding Fathers truly had the hand of God guiding them. The wisdom of the Electoral College, amazing.

We truly dodged a fatal bullet. The HildaBeast round would have ended the Republic as founded.

Don't give the PV crowd any attention at all. It's a non-starter. The PV is a total non-factor as only EV decide the election.

That said, I still remember all the Free Republic posters who were telling us that Trump was wasting his time and resources in PA, that it was "fool's gold" and un-winnable by Republicans due to the fraud in Philadelphia. I won't call them out by name but they know who they are and had Trump taken their advice, we'd be drowning in our own sorrows this morning talking about how it all went wrong.

Not only did contesting PA solidify OH, but it opened up the door to MI and WI which also became Trump wins. Hell, we came within a whisker of carrying MN as well. None of which would have happened if we conceded PA and focused elsewhere.

We should be able to hold these states in 2020 and then start making inroads elsewhere. Not only geographically but demographically. Time to take this nation back and make America Great Again.

They are trying to get the Electoral delegates to “vote their conscience”. No way are they getting 38 or more to flip.

The map shows Monmouth and Ocean counties in New Jersey as "liberal and mostly urban".

Monmouth went 56% for Trump and Ocean went 67% for Trump, as of the most recent vote totals.

The state would be great if we could make the strip of land about 10 miles to each side of the NJ Turnpike its own state. (But since we can't, it's Hell with great beaches, pizza and tomatoes.)

This is the reason why they should change the electoral college from winning most votes in a state to winning most votes by county. This eliminates voter fraud that disenfranchises as any fraud would be limited to the county its committed in. It is then up to the county or local level to deal with the fraud. It also prevents a single county from deciding who wins the state.

So? I don’t remember Obama winning states like Florida and Ohio by all that much in 2012.

"Clinton won the popular vote by 0.2 percent, or about 200,000 votes out of a total of 120 million total votes cast."

An interesting statistic revealed during this election is that the U.S. population is approximately 325 million but only 120 million voted, so 205 million U.S. citizens didn't vote.

Approximately 20% of the non-voting 205 million, or approximately 41 million, were under age and couldn't vote, so that left approximately 165 million, for whatever reason, stayed home on election day.

According to my amateur statistic calculation, of a population of 325 million, 120 million voted, and 165 million stayed home.

Did any of our MSM talking heads mentioned this?

The presumption is flawed. There is no real evidence that a hillary visit would have made any difference.

She is only up 200k in the popular vote. Last I read that was with about 7% of the vote left to count in the form of absentee ballots. Hmmm.

Hillary Clinton has nothing but hate, disgust and disdain for for the average American voter, She cannot stand middle income folks, African-Americans, Hispanics, Blue Collar, Union workers, people of religion and faith in God, etc. Her elite contempt is clearly shown as she shunned much campaigning in the rust belt states of Indiania, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, West Virginia. Trump easily carried thirty-three states with ease!!! Trump is truly a man of the people despite his great wealth. Clinton is a crooked, criminal tool of the political establishment low life Obama political vermin!!! End of story!!! God bless the average American & God bless Donald J. Trump, POTUS

Many absentee votes are not being counted, as there are not enough to “affect the outcome” of a few state elections. I.e., there’s not enough of them to cheat.

13% of illegals voted. At +/-30mm, that would be 1.9mm votes.

Two million more votes for HRC came from California alone, meaning the majority of the illegals’ votes may have come from there.
