2012 2012 State Obama Margin Clinton Margin NH + 8% + 0.2% MI + 9% - 0.3% WI + 7% - 0.8% PA + 5% - 1.0% MN + 8% + 1.4%
I’ll state it again: We almost lost this election.
It’s a sobering realization that should prompt action, not emotional euphoria.
Trump needs 8 years and he’s unlikely to get it unless there is a strategy to increase this very, very narrow margin of victory.
Yes, I am already worried about 2020 as well.
This was a razor-thin victory.
The Dems will be prepared for Trump’s campaign style and strategy next time.
There isn’t a moment to waste in acting on his agenda. Fortunately, he seems acutely aware of this.
So, I am guessing that 46 votes being flipped like the protesters are demanding of the electoral college is not likely.
Without the EC, we would look a lot like the dystopian world of “The Hunger Games”.
“We almost lost this election”
Yep. Seems like it was too close for comfort.
“Its a sobering realization that should prompt action, not emotional euphoria.”
LOL allow the euphoria, friend, I feel like I’ve been in a Dante like prison/hell since obozo took office.
Clearly Trump is taking “prompt action” and we all have his back.
This is all some small part of a process for the next election.
Hillary phoned it in. That’s why she lost Wisconsin. She never went there, thinking it was in the bag. The Electoral College taught her a lesson that she won’t ever forget.
Very well stated. Outstanding. He really gave it his all.
I have to agree with the general consensus re: if it was a truly honest election he would have won more states and the popular vote would have been his. Bigly. That I can tell you.
Of the counties they WON, the margin of victory is astounding.
Trumps AVERAGE margin of victory in those counties was 36 points. We think of a 20 point (60% to 40%) win as a blowout. Trump AVERAGED a 68% to 32% win in the counties he won.
Those are remarkable numbers. Do you have a link?
I was thinking of that after reading post #33. Look at the numbers there.
Trump won all of CT except where the sanctuary cities and the 70% non-white capital are.
The part of the equation missed by most: It is not the democrats who present the greatest obstacle, but establishment republicans interested in nothing but the next cycle.
Hence, my cynicism.
Okay, it’s kind of amusing now, for all the talk that New Hampsire was a must win for Trump. I know that it was usually couched in a group of 3 or 4 states to pick from, but NH seemed like the most likely of the bunch.
“Thought this was odd since it was the reverse of what I thought needed to happen.”
Same here. The turnout being lower than the last two times and Trump still winning was not something I expected at all. Maybe a bunch of regular voters stayed home and were simply replaced by first timers and folks that haven’t participated for a long time for a change vote?
Freegards
Pretty amazing! That is the difference between 260, a losing number, and 306, a winning number.
Ping to note how close it really was and how a better-executed vote fraud by the left will most assuredly be in works for 2018 and beyond.
We simply cannot allow for this to continue.
Had Trump been defeated, the right would NEVER have won a US Presidential election again.
Now its time to repeal the immigration act of 1965 and halt all legal immigration from non- white countries.
The marxists have overrun the nation with third worlders in hopes of building an unholy and unstoppable coalition of blacks, illegal alien hispanics, homosexuals, and anarchists.
You dont defeat these people at the polls for long, eventually you have to smash their leadership and force them back under the rocks they crawled out from.
They need to FEAR the right wing, and FEAR the consequences from the right wing of working to elect people that want to steal the productive class wealth at gunpoint.
LAW and ORDER, PINOCHET style.
Yes but let Canckles and Look have nightmares
I’ve been saying this same thing for a long time. The large urban areas carry the votes in most states - without that, many of the blue states would probably be red.
