Columnist David Brooks is the house "conservative" of the New York Times which means he is currently busy consoling his fellow liberals over Donald Trump's election victory. Brooks, in his column today titled The View From Trump Tower but which could more accurately be labeled "The View From Ivory Tower," describes texting people "off the ledge." Ironically it is Brooks himself who leaps off that ledge at the end of his column due to his extreme Trump Derangement Syndrome.

They were so right all along- we should listen to them!!
1- Trump doesn’t quit.
2- Trump has the Congressional majority.
David Brooks is about to join the long line of useless ‘former’ NYT ‘journalists’ who didn’t know their ass from a hole in the ground. Whoever owns NYT should have fired all of them yesterday if he cared about the long, storied reputation of that national rag.

David Brooks’ primary purpose in life is to use US military men & women to start and fight wars that he wants fought for the non-US national interests he wants pursued. That game is over.

Sunday news talk shows are dead now as far as I’m concerned.....I’d be more interested in that old fart next door to me that complains about them damn kids riding their bikes down the hill in his yard. BTW, I’m an old fart, too. But my grandpa taught me early on what horseshit and cow-patties really are.
I have the biggest hunch: 3 - Trump has the support of God. And Trump didn’t earn that from God. Trump was scarcely religious at all. But look what has agglomerated in his campaign.
