A poll from the Auto Alliance and Entertainment Software Association (ESA) finds Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump ahead of Hillary Clinton by one percentage point in the key swing state of Pennsylvania. The Auto Alliance polls roughly 5,000 car owners every month. Pollsters collected 175 responses each day in six states, conducting surveys on every night except for Fridays and Saturdays, for the presidential and Senate races.
In Pennsylvania, they found Trump leading Clinton by one percentage point in a three-day rolling poll.
Support is dependent on estimated turnout.
The strong Democrat and the strong Republican models are based on turnout in elections where the respective parties were successful in getting out their vote, pollsters note. The Republican model largely mirrors the voting electorate from 2014, where voters were older and more conservative. The Democrat model mirrors the voting electorate in 2012, where the electorate had greater percentages of younger and minority voters.
The survey may be an outlier.
Another poll conducted by Franklin & Marshall College found Clinton leading Trump in Pennsylvania by 11 percentage points in a race that also included third-party candidates. Yet another poll, conducted by Remington Research, found Clinton leading Trump by only two percentage points.
Pennsylvania has voted for Democratic presidential candidates since 1988 and holds 20 electoral votes.

Good news.
Pray this continues.
The landslide is on.
Trump landslide coming.
PA has become a regular tease. Too much “variability” from its 2 big cities that can swamp legitimate voter sentiment. I’ll believe it when I see it.
They elected Santorum, there must be some GOP votes out there.
Pennsylvania is the Lucy football for Republicans every cycle. Trump better win elsewhere so he doesn’t need it
A lot of NYC people invading PA. Some commute. Some spring, summer, fall it, then head south.
A poll of car owners? Ehhhh...
An “Auto Alliance and Entertainment Software Association” poll of car owners? Oh yeah, I’d be terrified if I was Hillary.
But she damn well shouldn’t be up here in PA by 11 points either and — absent vote fraud — surely is not. That non-automotive poll showing her up only within the margin of error is the most realistic of the bunch and the trend has been solidly favoring Trump lately, at least up to today.

Just caught this new Michigan poll, with a D+5 sample.
BTW, The new and last gold standard Marquette University poll for Wisconsin is due out in the next hour or so.
They elected Santorum, there must be some GOP votes out there.
He was elected in a midterm 1994 election and lost in the devastating 2006 election. Both times the results were because of Republicans. lol.
That is the strangest name for a poll I’ve ever heard.
I heard on the radio today there is a poll out there of 8 “bellwether” counties which almost always vote the same party in presidential elections. They polled them to see if they were changing this year, which would indicate a shift in the national race. 2 are in PA. One of them has changed from Democrat to solid Trump, and that’s Luzerne. I know they always do vote Democrat from previous maps.
It also happens to be my birthplace which I’ve been to several times recently. This week I saw there are Lou Barletta and Trump signs almost wall-to-wall. Driving down a main road in my hometown, I started thinking Trump vs. Clinton signs were 10 to 1. By the end of the drive out of town I think 25 to 1 is more accurate. This is a heavy coal, manufacturing, blue-collar area. Used to be total white, but has become 50% hispanic like all of northeastern PA since 2000 due to mass immigration and white flight.
This is a total difference from the Philly burbs where you would not know there is an election going on. You have to drive miles before you can find a Hillary sign and no one has Trump signs out. The Philly area has the same low enthusiasm for Hillary as everywhere else, but they also hate Trump. These are the college-educated whites that Trump is struggling with.
So those are the two tales of PA.
That may swing the State our way.
Exactly. The fraud in Philly in 2008 & 2012 was astonishing.
In my heart I feel it’s 1980 all over again:-)
There was talk of making PA’s electoral votes proportional because of the criminality which takes place in Philly every 4 years.
I wonder what the polls are like in NJ.
