European civilization died in WW1. WW2 was just the final clearing of any chance of a recovery.
They never actually recovered from the 40s. Maybe economically, but it was never to be the Europe of the Belle Époque. They were neutered, humiliated, stripped of their prestige, unsure of themselves, and left at the mercy of America and Russia.
If it wasn’t for American money and arms, the Russians would have long ago absorbed what was left of the place.
We just managed to get them to the point where they resembled a decent impression of independent nations that could stand on there own.
Since Obama, American retreat from prominence has exposed all of the rotten foundation of European civilization (with their “social democracy” BS and crooked EU ambitions) to the real world.

I lived in Germany for 6 years. Watching this national suicide is very sad for me. We could walk anywhere at any time without fear, expected clean streets, neatness everywhere. Now its all gone because of one woman. She will rank as the second worst chancellor of all time.

How? I don’t know really. I didn’t grow up in Eastern Germany (as I think I can recall) and then have to “work the system” in the Western World to get power.
Hard to say. Some people are just born that way to think there is good to be had from introducing a 4th century moron into civilized society.
In my mind, there’s no problem with 4th century cultural evolution as it was then (or whenever Islam ‘formally’ happened). The problem exists in that there is ZERO cultural progression in that religious and practiced dogma after it’s inception - i.e., NO PROGRESS.
Her government brings them in oblivious of the protection needed for their citizens and expects these “guests” to exhibit civility when they can barely keep from flinging their own shit.
