Baby Sergios fever was spiking. His parents had just arrived here from Mexico with no papers, no money, no family, no friends.
The parents tried bringing down the fever, but it didnt work. The baby started convulsing. An ambulance whisked the terrified young family to a hospital. There, a social worker met with them.

Dont worry, señora, the social worker told Maria as she signed Sergio up for a program called Healthy Kids. She handed the anxious mother an insurance card. the social worker told Maria as she signed Sergio up for a program called Healthy Kids. She handed the anxious mother an insurance card.

Yeah don't worry the stupid gringos will pick up the tab. My wife and I are paying $28,000 per year for our insurgence policy plus co-pays plus out of pocket plus what we pay in taxes. Yeah don't freaking worry leave that to us poor stupid American citizens.
Alas, the American citizens collectively brought all of this about.
Deport them back to Mexico and let the Mexican government take care of them.
I believe in human compassion. But if America fades, we can help no one.
A thousand years of darkness???
California should have air ambulances to fly all over the world to pick them up and take them back to California.

A thousand years of darkness???
++
For more than a year my tagline was
“If America falls, darkness will cover the face of the earth for a thousand years”.
Still true.
California is done.
Trust me, I live here and Ive known for a long time its been done..walk the streets of LA and you know its done..Ronald Reagan loved this state, build his presidential library here, adored this state, he is looking down from heaven in total disbelief at what has happened..he wouldnt recognize it anymore
In the meantime young families in the US are working two jobs and eating hot dogs to pay their health insurance.
If I were you and in good health, I would stop paying such an outrageous premium and self insure.
What do you mean, we brought all this about?
We voted against it here in California in 1994.
One judge overturned it. Then a newly elected governor drowned the law by using a scam along with the Reconquista terrorists who mau mau the populace when they get any resistance.
We dumped that SOB.
But between GWB and BHO, we got no relief.
Believe me pal, nobody I know likes paying taxes in California to pay for Mexico’s problems.
So, what is the better investment?
Non-Americans who owe nothing to America, who share none of our values, refuse to embrace our culture, who have only an intention of taking whatever they can from our welfare system.
Or a random American who is an American through and through. Who may, or may not ever go to college, who may or may not ever start a company; but more than likely WILL start a family, pay taxes and devote the rest of his life trying to better himself and this country?
I vote Americans every single time.

Why are these morons pinching off kids they can’t raise properly? Drop them all off in the desert on their border.
I am native Californian and love the state too, but I can’t live there any more for more reasons than one.
Maria believes that little card saved her sons life repeatedly over the next several years, allowing him to have regular checkups and paying for crucial surgeries and medical care.
What do you think that one little kid cost us for his surgeries and medical care? Disgusting!
Cuba should step up to the plate since they have such superb healthcare./s
And don’t forget all those proud middle men that all this baksheesh feeds too! This can’t be like stupid CHARITY where they actually dedicate themselves to efficiency of the benevolences.
It wasn't the "little card" that payed for those expensive surgeries and care.
And from what I understand, each adult has to work part time, because of Obamacare. So they get two part-time jobs, because employers don't want to have to pay insurance for full-time workers.
Imagine the running around, stress and hassle for people in the private sector. In fact, if they have young children and can't afford day care, many families split the work (one parent works at night; the other during the day). So they get no quality couple time whatsoever; few if any home-cooked meals, family time, etc. What does that do to a marriage?
I may be wrong, and please correct me if I am.
But the system itself took a cut, plus encouraged the cost of the care itself to skyrocket.
There is nothing wrong with benevolences; there is everything wrong with making cash cows out of guilt trips.
